It's a historic center. It's the oldest city in New Orleans. It was founded in the early 18th century by the French
It's a built street with a European atmosphere. Two large fires have burned down most of the first buildings
It's gone, and Spain, the ruling power of the time, has rebuilt it, and the streets are filled with stone steps that have been in place for a long time, old roads, etc
The remaining and street shops are attractive places with Dixie Land jazz or pine-style music, so visit!

Next up is Jackson Square. The old name is Place Dames, the center of the French Quarter, and it's set on the Mississippi River
It's facing St. Louis Cathedral, which was used as an execution site during the French and Spanish rule
In the center of the park is a kiln statue of General Andrew Jackson and artists are displaying their paintings on the street
On weekends, street artists gather to perform, so make sure to visit!
