Opening hours

Location: good, convenient to go to a lot of tourist places with around 20-30mins walk. Eg. Kingbokkung, namsan cable car(to n Seoul tower), Myeongdong street, namdaemun market… close to sijam station. Service: bad, overall bad for those reception staffs, no smile, kinda rude, not patient at all, not help, except the one girl who helped us check in on the first day(28feb afternoon), her name tag shown she’s “trainee” but she was the only good one. Others are really bad to be a 4 stars hotel staff. P.s they won’t help you to order delivery food as well so don’t have to ask them, they will reply,”this is hotel policy” so buy your own food to avoid bad attitude replies. For house keeping staffs, I saw two of them and I think they are nice by initially say hello to us. Room: bed is comfy. Fridge is small. Bathroom shower is wonderful with pressurised shower head which I appreciate so much. But the shower curtain is very dirty and smelly, also the slide door knobs are very dirty too, it’s like no one had ever cleaned it before. Each room has a small window with stains, I would rate this hotel 3 stars only, it’s pretty on its outside and lobby, but bad software. Aircon also is a problem, cannot adjust by yourself , it’s so hot at night ? I don’t think I will stay there anymore, with their price I can book another one with much better experience.

Not good for kids as required at least 10mins walking from the closest station. But this location is quiet and away from the crowd, many restaurants nearby and few coffee shops. Rooms are a bit dated..

Stayed a night in the line friends theme room, the whole floor has line friends decoration and the whole room has so many details which is all great for photos. The staff are quite helpful and they work quite fast even though it was busy during check in time. The hotel is located few bus stop away from the central myeongdong, it is quite convenient to get around. I really loved the room, the amenities are very nice, with skincare provided too, which is awesome. It's deinitely worth it if you are a line friends fan.

Had high expectations for a Japanese chain hotel (4 stars, at that). However the hotel was quite badly maintained. There were visible scratches/ marks in the doors and walls, and the cleanliness was also suspect… The view was nice but the window was soo dirty. Pros are that location is good - near City Hall station and the airport bus also stops nearby.

I stayed at Sotetsu Hotels The Splasir for three nights in late November last year during a holiday tour with a travel agency. The website photos looked fine, and the lobby was considered decent and beautiful. However, the actual room was small, and the walls had stains. I had a bad experience; even with the "Do Not Disturb" sign on, the staff still tried to open our door a few times. The sliding door for the toilet was not user-friendly, causing hand clamping. It was stiff and challenging to slide. The room had a stench, and the wooden tub was somewhat black.
