A Timeless Retreat: Lotte Hotel Seoul Revisited My recent stay at Lotte Hotel Seoul in 2023 was a delightful return to a classic gem that has consistently stood the test of time. Having first experienced the hotel's charm in 2005, I was pleased to find that it has not only maintained its high standards but has also embraced a timeless elegance that has evolved with the years. The staff at Lotte Hotel Seoul continue to set the standard for professionalism and hospitality. From the moment I entered the lobby to the time I checked out, the service was exemplary. The staff members were not only attentive but also displayed a genuine commitment to ensuring a memorable stay. Their knowledge and willingness to assist with any request further elevated the overall experience. One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional dining experience. The breakfast spread was a culinary delight, featuring a diverse array of delectable options to suit every palate. The room service menu was equally impressive, offering a selection of gourmet dishes that surpassed my expectations. The seamless execution of the dining service added an extra layer of luxury to my stay. In addition to its timeless charm and impeccable service, Lotte Hotel Seoul boasts a state-of-the-art fitness center that further enhances the overall guest experience. During my recent stay in 2023, I had the opportunity to explore and utilize the hotel's fitness facilities, and I was thoroughly impressed.

My companion had to change rooms three times. The first was much smaller than her booking. The second room was too cold and the next morning she was moved to the third room, a deluxe twin room sun facing which she had booked and prepaid which had amazing 180 degree floor to ceiling views of Seoul and a marble bathroom with separate shower and bathtub. Pure luxury for her 2 week stay in Seoul. Do ensure you get the room you paid for! The room came with a complimentary club lounge pass where the buffet breakfast was to die for with both Western food items and a traditional Korean soup dish with rice. The beef soup with rice was particularly tasty as was the seaweed soup and rice. The views from the club lounge are spectacular. The lounge also served complimentary tea with mini scones (no clotted cream but instead you got cream cheese). The happy hour early dinner served free champagne but the food was lukewarm.

Excellent hotel. Great location. Room is so nice with great view. Breakfast buffet is pretty good. It also has afternoon tea and happy hour but we did not always eat here as you would want to try local food.

Great experience in a modern-style executive room. We enjoyed our time during Xmas with our family. Lovely location, great staff and great food. Great access to department stores in the basement was an advantage during snowy Xmas days.

Loved our stay here. This is a big, bustling hotel, but the service is high end. Particularly enjoyed “The Drawing Room” for quiet early evening cocktails, had breakfast there one morning too, it was our haven away from the crowds. Beautiful room in the executive tower with attention to detail.
