I can’t boast enough great things about this hotel. Location, rooms, bedding, pools, gym, breakfast, all of it! The rooms are very clean and beds are so comfortable it’s easy to sleep in, I found the rooms peaceful and the patio nice for view. Breakfast changed daily and was always fresh quality product. My favorite stay amongst my 5 months of traveling. I highly recommend staying here and including the breakfast with your stay!

We had a super stay at sugar Marina ART. The rooms were clean and had all the facilities we needed. Plenty of space for the 3 of us. A big double bed and a single bed. The walk in pool was amazing. The breakfast had so much choice and was very tasty. The location was within walking distance of the beach and restaurant/bars. However it was removed enough we heard nothing in the night in the room. 100% we would stay there again.

We stayed for 2 nights in this hotel. Pros: 1)Great location, with good bars, massage centres, fruits, food, and even money exchange all walking distance. 2)Very close to the beach 3)Great size and location for the price we paid. 4)The staff were available most of the time. 5)Super sweet and helpful staff. 6)The beds comfortable and an ok size bathroom Cons: 1)The walls are thin. So often we heard people talking in the corridors or when they shut the door. 2)Only 1 lift available. So, sometimes you will not get that quickly the lift 3)No conditioner in the bathroom. This hotel is great for people who want to stay for a good budget, clean and great location as most things in Karon beach are nearby. Just remember this part of Karon beach has a different demography who come tp holiday. So the restaurants offer a lot of burger, pizza, pasta, smoothies, acai bowls etc. The food is also on the expensive side.

The location is just across the road from the Karon beach, this is why we picked it. The room is ok for 2 people but there are bigger rooms in another hotels close by in the same price range. Beds were comfy, bedsheets had some old spots. The hallway is dark, the hotel is in need of some renovations. The room was dusty and with dirty curtains, oily spots on the walls, the shower was also in need of a proper cleaning. In general the room service is not the best, you gotta ask for everything, left us without towels a couple times and the reception only kept promising for more than 1hr to deliver them. No way. Had to wander around the hallway to find the cart with towels and body wash. Tips change nothing. The door doesn't close properly so you can hear everything. Breakfast was ok, the same meals every day with a minor diffefence, 350 baht per person. For 700 you can have a better deal for two people somewhere else. The stuff is not willing to help at all, just smile nicely and do nothing to solve your problems with their hotel. Room service stole my cap, I only noticed when leaving as it was always in my backpack and I never checked it before check out. Also informed the reception about the early checkout to make sure they would arrange a breakfast box but they never did that and in the morning the rude guy at the reception blamed us for not checking that we were included on the list the night before ? if he can't manage his anger and deal with people probably it is not the best job for him. Also there is a smell of sewage near the hotel as Phuket is not the cleanest place. Despite all these negative things Thailand is worth visiting just make sure you don't book Sugar Marina Art as they do anything to ruin your mood. Also don't buy tours from the hotel guides, they charge a double price.

I have stayed here in 2018 and it was great, thus I have booked the same hotel as a returning guest. I was allocated to another wing ( where the swimming pool is), and it is vastly different from my previous experience. I was very disappointed this time. The walkway are narrow and doors are not sound proof at all, you can hear people walking up and down clearly. The tiles at the stairs are falling out. Overall, if you don't really care about the room and more about the location, this is a place to consider. It is expensive for what it has to offer. + the location of the hotel is great, easy access to many eateries, massage and beach + the water pressure for shower is good + aircon works perfectly + beach mat and bag is a definite plus - the room I was given is sooo old and run down. Paint work was sloppy and even the sink tiles are poorly done. - slippers are recycled rubber slipper - there are no toothpaste / toothbrush - no cup for toothbrush. No soap holder. - no toliet paper holder! - service is not great - requested for new towels and was told it will only be delivered next day, and was told again housekeeping only can deliver after 10am.
