Great!
We thought this was a pretty good restaurant, although it felt a bit like a chain being inside. By that I mean, it wasn’t necessarily cozy, but wide open and kind of sterile. The food on the other hand was amazing! It tasted great and the flavors were wonderful. We were all very pleased with our meals. The place was nice and clean and they do a really good job of presenting a quality image. The service was really good, and although we had to wait a few times, the server was friendly and helpful. The kids enjoyed their French toast and eggs and bacon. The egg and arugula sandwich was good as was the egg skillet dish. I forgot the name, but like an egg omelette in a personal sized cast iron skillet. We recommend this place.

Perfect!
This place gets really busy so come early or call in because this place gets packed and there’s always a line outside of the door. With that being said I totally see why so many people come they have great menu items. The food is delicious, the ambiance is nice and the service is attentive too. The avocado toast with the tomato salsa on top was the best I’ve ever had that I wanna have it again, the potatoes with cheese and a aioli to dip them in was also very tasty. I would definitely come here again.

Perfect!
Absolutely perfect! I declare Cafe Medina my favorite spot in Vancouver. My friends and I walked in around 9 am on a Wednesday morning for brunch, and there were still a few seats available, so we were seated right away. We ordered the fricassee, which came with two short ribs in a tomato stew sauce (I'm not entirely sure, my apologies if I got that wrong), two sun eggs, and some potato chunks. It was incredibly delicious! We practically licked the sauce clean from the pot. We also ordered two of their signature waffles with mixed berries, which were equally delicious! Must try these, they're my favorites. The coffee was rich and aromatic, and I loved it. But the highlight for me was the outstanding service! Especially from a tattooed-arm lady who was incredibly attentive and intuitive. Several times, she anticipated our needs without us even having to ask, like refilling our water, changing utensils before having the waffles, and handling the bill. I'm in love with this place!

Great!
Overrated?? Absolutely! We went there on Thursday at 11am! They had no table and there was a line! We put our names down and 50 min later we had a table! We started with latte and mocha both with oat milk and both were very tasty! L O V E D I T! We next ordered two different dishes; I highlighted in the picture, they were okay and tasted sweet! Lacked acidity even though it had tomatoes in it! We both are not fond of sweet beans or sausages! So.. not good! But the waiter knew his way around, we got our orders in a reasonable amount of time and overall was good but definitely not worth an hour of my life waiting! ? They also had just one option for a sweet breakfast/brunch and it was small portions of waffles! ? not recommended! Also it is pricey$$ ?

Perfect!
The brunch cafe I loved the most in Van. This time was my second visit, and I still very like the food. This time we ordered Paella, very rich with tomatoes flavor. The rice was chewy, good texture in Paella. When the egg was running on rice, it was amazing! The other one was my love too, Saumon Fume, with tasty smoked salmon cream cheese. And the sweety drop pepper was a bonus. I was so surprised at its taste—sweet like fruit. Their waffle was spongy as previously. ? The only cons was waiting time was too long, so must reserve before visiting.
