Opening hours

Some pros: -Great location in downtown Banff right on the Main Street, easy access to restaurants and shops. -The roof top hot tub is amazing and has beautiful views. Now for the cons: -The heat/ac fan in our room was ridiculously loud. We turned it completely off for the duration of our stay. -Pillows on the bed were very lumpy. we asked for new ones at the front desk and the girl wasn’t overly friendly and stated that they’ll just be the same ones because they’re “from the same company.” Not very understanding or apologetic. -The bed was pretty uncomfortable and the sheets felt very cheap and scratchy. I saw another review saying the same. The fitted sheet felt like an athletic track pant material and made a zipper sound when you brushed your hand over it - that’s how you know it’s a cheap fabric! -Shower drain is either clogged or not draining properly because every time we showered there was a pool of water. -Charging guests $2 a bottle for Dasani water is a bit silly, asking for 2 bottles of water should be complimentary, no? -We thought the desk staff were unfriendly and standoffish. Overall we won’t stay here again because we have stayed elsewhere in Banff where the quality of sleep and customer service was far better for the price.

We stayed here during a ski trip in January, and I am so glad we picked this place; I can't say enough good things about it. The location was perfect for getting around town and catching the bus to the ski resorts, the restaurant inside the hotel was excellent, and the room was modern and comfortable. The public transportation is in front of the hotel, and the ski bus to all the resorts picks up behind the hotel. Additionally, it is centrally located in Banff, so the restaurants are within a few minutes walk. The room we stayed in faced the main road and was not loud while we were there (but it was also super cold, so not many people were outside making noise). The restaurant inside the hotel was exellent, and we ate there multiple times. Almost every dish we had was outstanding, and we really liked the decor.

This hotel met our needs. The room was clean and the shower was HOT and amazing after cold snowy hikes! Desk staff were just … THERE. No warm and fuzzy feelings from them. Just sat at the desk and didn’t acknowledge you unless you initiated. So not terrible but not great. A few stains on the carpet in the rooms but it’s an older hotel so kind of expected that. Other than that the location was perfect and met our needs!

Had a girls night away and stayed one night. The hotel was lovely and the staff were excellent. The room was perfect with a lounge area that we could hang out. You couldn't get a much better location being in the heart of Banff. We had breakfast in the restaurant the following morning and it was very good. We would stay again and recommend to others.

The rooms and location are great! The restaurant downstairs is also very good. However, the biggest problem I had was the hot tub. There is a limited capacity of only 4 people per tub. With a hotel of that size, it is not ideal. They are also very strict on things like music. I brought a small, portable speaker, which I asked the other guests if I could play, and the lady working came out and made me turn it off. After a ski day, I anticipate my hot tub time, and it just cut it for me.
