I wanted to take a moment to share some feedback from our recent stay at your property. Firstly, I must commend your team for the warm welcome and efficient check-in process upon our arrival. Our room, boasting two double beds and offering a stunning view of the city and the picturesque fall scene of the Rideau Canal, was indeed spacious and comfortable. The presence of two bathrooms, each with a shower, was a pleasant surprise and added convenience to our stay. Exploring the hotel and its surroundings was a delight. The gallery, both indoors and outdoors, provided fascinating insights into the history of the area, and we thoroughly enjoyed learning more about the rich heritage of the Rideau Canal. Your hotel's amenities, including the indoor pool and gym, were well-maintained and contributed to a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Additionally, the thoughtful birthday amenity for my hubby was a kind gesture that did not go unnoticed. Due to our brief one-night stay and the unavailability of a reservation, we were unable to dine there. However, this gives us all the more reason to return in the future and indulge in the culinary delights your establishment has to offer. In conclusion, we would like to express our gratitude for the hospitality extended to us during our time at your hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciate the efforts of your dedicated team. We look forward to the possibility of returning in the future and experiencing all that Fairmont Chateau Laurier has to offer.

I would not say 4 star hotel. The history and craftsman ship is amazing. The rooms are dated, dusty, and I would say on par with 3 star hotels. For $400+ night they could dust the tables, lamps, under bed - not as "luxury or high end as advertised or for a Fairmont" the building is goregous and history is rich. Amazing building. Perhaps better house keeping management, protocol and some better updates done correctly for the era they are advertising.

While I didn't stay overnight, I decided to review the hotel because I have many things I want to comment on. Originally, we just stop by for a quick washroom break before visiting Parliament Hill, but it was so lovely that we ended up lingering around, admiring the surroundings. I knew that Fairmont hotels are known for their tradition and luxurious, so I took the time to explore thoroughly. There were photos displayed, including one of Churchill, who had visited that hotel. The corridors with orchids growing, intricate moldings, ornate ceilings, marble stairs with golden railings, chic gold elevator doors, and the elevator interiors resembling rooms all exuded elegance. The guests seemed like wealthy families, and there were well-groomed pets scattered around. The lobby was adorned with lots of stylish furniture. I hesitate to recommend a free activity for just visiting the hotel, it seemed that there was a college within the hotel, so visiting without staying might not be a bother to the hotel. I thought I might take the time to enjoy high tea on my next visit.

We had a Beautiful 2 night stay at the Fairmont Ottawa !!! Close to everything !! Walking distance to market The hotel is breathtaking! Service concierge's were on the ball and very good fast and always there for us !!! The valet parking was quick and convenient ? Even though we had a huge truck it was handled with care and the valet men where more then amazing!!! The front staff where very accommodating with any questions thrown at them The training staff should always have another with them ! But he handled it well when asked a question he quickly got the answer!! Also the pool could use some TLC on the paint or plaster ! All peeling off This should be done at night so pool does not need to be closed . Can’t wait to return !!! And thanks to all the most amazing cleaners that helped us out with more coffee for the next day !! One thing I suggest is regular coffee makers See you all soon !!! Kind Regards

Had a great stay there. Excellent quality, it was worth it. Loved swimming in the pool and dining options. The room key stuck when we tried to get into our room. It’s an old door and historic. The cleaning staff on duty was more than happy to help us.
