My first time eating raw beef and squid. I love that they have heaters for the people queueing outside during winter.
The pear slices under the raw beef is yummy and good!

Was very intrigued by the Michelin * inside the market but was quite disappointed. Queued at 5:30 for 45m and ordered raw beef w/LIVE octopus. It really means it’s still moving which is an acquired taste. The fact that the meat was not cut up very well and didn’t seem to have much taste confused me. Expected bit more from the famous dish. I just ate the side dishes and rice at the end.

Went on a weekday afternoon at about 12pm and there was quite a long queue however it moved fast and we were seated within 30mins. Ordered the bibimbap and the yukohe with egg yolk. Absolutely loved both of them so much. The raw beef was super fresh and did not have the gamey taste at all + went super well with the sweet Korean pear slices. Highly recommend giving this a try!

Went early and there was no queue. Staff gracefully a cepted 3 of us at a corner. No reservation available. Raw Beef and live octopus were superb and fresh. Served with crunchy pear. Good service, helps to replenish seaweed & banchans anytime.

Worthy of it’s Michelin. This place is older than me and I can see why. Located in the Gwang Jang Market - we ordered the live squid and beef tartare. I damn near shed a tear. Being Korean, I’ve had my fair share in the states, but never like this.
