Perfect!
(I can't comment on the location. All of my business was at the hotel, and it was a lightning-round assignment for me. No real chance to get out.) Now, the review. Customer service and accommodations nonpareil. From my getting in there way too early and the wonderful staff being so charmingly solicitous, to the room with it fabulous comfort and amenities, this short stay built a memory of a lifetime. I have simple tastes, more inclined to bring food home than to eat out, and the advice of the staff and kitchen features of the room accommodated me in great fashion. The technology in the room was up-to-date and topnotch. Not only was the room itself entirely comfortable, but it was gorgeous in appearance. In an experience where you see that management has obviously said, "We want to make sure that every little thing goes flawlessly," to the care and attention by a staff whose lives were seemingly devoted to my comfort, the only regret that I have is that I couldn't stay longer. Thank you, Grand Mercure. Superbly done.

We loved our stay at the Grand Mercure Ambassador in the Yongsan area. The staff was over the top, always friendly and attentive. The rooms are modern, cozy and extremely cleaned. The location was very convenient to take a taxi or the subway, you are within minutes to the Yongsan station and a mall, and lots of restaurant options! We are thankful for the experience the staff provided, always checking if we needed anything, answering questions and taking good care of us. When we come back to Seoul, this is the place we will stay again. 100% recommended!

Perfect!
Very clean and good hospitality. They have various wine which we can get it on site and enjoy it in the room. I booked the room which has kitchen then really convenient to make our selves. Of course connection to the CASINO is really comfortable. 2-3 min to the entrance of CASINO which is located the next building.

Perfect!
The room at The Grand Mercure Yongsan was perfect for our family trip to Seoul. It had everything we needed and was very large which meant we could all relax after busy days in the city. The location worked well being close to shops, restaurants and 2 subway stations. The staff at the Hotel were friendly and professional. They helped immediately with any problems we had. I would definitely return.

This has been my 6th stay at the hotel within the past 6 months. As always, I was welcomed by the reception staff just like they were meeting old friends. Lena Lee (my first contact at the hotel on my first stay there) checked me in and was so friendly. She even offered a specific time for a late checkout pro-actively. I was also upgraded to a one-bedroom suite, which is quite large and very well appointed. I have attained ALL Gold Status for 2024 so that has probably helped as well. My stay was for 2 nights and I was only at the hotel in the morning and in the evening. My son was with me for this trip. I was still able to use the gym everyday. This time, I informed the gym reception staff verbally of my room no and name as I filled out the guest form and noticed that this gets me less suspicious stares from the staff vs just writing the form and waiting for them to confirm I'm a hotel guest. The gym facilities and trainers are excellent but I still find the gym reception staff not as warm and welcoming as the other members of the hotel. A couple of changes I noticed on this stay was the addition of more concierge team members and a doorman that helps arriving/departing guests. As with the reception team, the concierge team is excellent and pro-actively offers me various services. One of the "flaws" for this trip was that the room I was staying in smelled like old food as housekeeping forgot to clean out the old food remains (in the trash bin) prior to my check-in. The room smelled like food when we returned from our first day out and housekeeping immediately came to the room to clean out the bin. I am still a huge fan of the hotel and recommend it to all travelers to Seoul who have a budget for a high-end hotel. My next stay will be this coming August.
