Great stay - staff went out of their way to accommodate the family. I was here TDY and they helped me add an extra charge to upgrade to a suite so the family could enjoy Seoul while I was at my conference. Love the convenient location, spacious rooms, and staff who bent over backwards to accommodate. We’ll be going here for years!

Overall I’d stay here again. The restaurants, shoppette, and laundry make up for the negatives. However, some of the staff was very unfriendly. The rooms had issues—clogged sinks, wrappers from previous guests, dirty cups, bathroom door doesn’t lock, no shampoo on the first night. Nothing bc major, but compared to the Japanese hotels we are used to, it was kinda gross. Plus the maids came at 8:36am to clean. Thats just too early. So we had to do without cleaning service bc we left our room at 9am on one rainy day. Location is ok. It’s a 10-15 walk from the train or bus. Next to the Korean War memorial.

Wish they had a closer bus stop outside the gate. But nice facility to stay at for those allowed, military,active,retired,veterans, and government civilians in certain categories.

Located inside Yongsan Base. We stayed for a week and on days that was rainy, we got plenty of things to do to keep our boys busy. You'll find great amenities, including a pool area, playground, a food court located in the lower lobby, laundry room, gym, tour packages, and a few restaurants. The best part is tax-free accommodations, atm (dispenses USD & KRW) and free parking. We were lucky our room has a view of Sepul tower. The lodge is conveniently close to gate one, making access easier. While taxis are usually available outside the lobby, some days they're scarce. But don't fret—a 5-minute walk to gate 1 will lead you to plenty of taxis. Itaewon and Myeongdong is a short distance. Tip: Make sure you get a taxi card from the lobby. It makes it easy to communicate with taxi drivers, you just show it to them and they will take you back to Gate 1.

We stayed at the dragon hill lodge for 5 days Room 669. It was okay, beds are comfy, need new pillows. Sheets and towels were clean. Carpets clean, the bathroom can use some attention on cleaning and sink keep clogging. Shower leaked all over the floor. Front door had to be hard closed just to lock. I was awakened by the room next to me 3 nights around 12 am. The checkin desk was great, courtsey and professional, the adventure desk was so helpful. The food was fresh and tasty, the christmas meal was nice and festive. If you like to adventure out to go shopping the hotel is really close to the trains and taxis.
