Worst.
**Disappointing Experience at Novotel Seoul Ambassador** As a frequent traveler and a gold status member, I had high expectations for my stay at Novotel Seoul Ambassador. However, my recent experience left much to be desired. The first issue arose when I had to check out a day early due to unforeseen circumstances. Despite my loyalty and long-term commitment to the brand, the hotel refused to provide a refund for the unused night. While I understand that some rates may be non-refundable, I expected more flexibility and accommodation as a valued customer. The second incident occurred on a Sunday morning when I encountered difficulties with the included breakfast. To my surprise, the hotel had failed to register my name or room number for the complimentary meal. This oversight led to a chaotic situation, with a long line forming behind me as staff attempted to rectify the error. The lack of organization and attention to detail was both frustrating and stressful. Overall, my experience at Novotel Seoul Ambassador fell short of my expectations. Despite being a loyal customer, I did not feel valued or appreciated during my stay. Moving forward, I hope the hotel takes steps to improve their customer service and address these issues to ensure a more enjoyable experience for all guests.

real 5-star? Observations after staying here for 4 nights: Overall comfortable and well-located, but ultimately falls short of true 5-star quality. 1) Room service - Tried 6-7 menu items, but prices are 5-star while taste is under 3-star. Head chef should try room service from other hotels. Room service no recommending. 2) Gym/pool/sauna not operational weekly - Unusual system not seen in other 5-star hotels. Notice needed before booking, not just at check-in. 3) Failure to honor commitments with customers. - Reserved luggage cart for 7 bags, but it never arrived despite multiple requests. Had to go back and forth to the lobby four times for check-out by myself. (The checkout reception staff handled complaints about this situation courteously and methodically, but responsibility is needed from the cart reservation staff and concierge staff.)

The hotel is very close to Yongsan metro and long distance train station, and there is also big mall next to it. This made travel very convenient. Hotel lobby was lovely, with restaurants and bars for all three meals. Hotel room was clean, good size, and everything worked. Will stay at this location again.

Perfect!
My family and I stayed in the hotel for a week. It was our first time to visit Korea and we were very excited so we planned a lot of activities going to different places. It was a HUGE BLESSING that the hotel is beside Yongsan station and therefore it was so easy for us to move around. After our activities it was such a delight to rest and sleep in our rooms. the bed, the lighting, the shower, even the TV that showed a lot of Korean shows and a couple of English ones, the aircon and the heater - they were very comforting for people exhausted from travelling. I especially loved the location and design of the sink in the room. Shoutout to Lily on the front desk who was our angel on our 1st day whose help was invaluable. Also, the staff who answered our phone calls were a big help to us. Excellent place to stay in. A bit far from the action of Myeongdong but my family and I very much appreciated the quiet environment of the area.

I stay at this hotel 2-3 times a year and each time I’m always impressed by the service, the attentiveness of the staff and the great rooms. The location is also spectacular for me as my office is only 5 minutes away. The one thing I wish the hotel did better was to offer its Accor member s benefits to those that booked the hotel through third party sites as long as they do it often enough. It’s too bad this is not the case as I’m sure more people would also book their stays here as well.
