From the first day we checked in the hotel, the service staff treated us really friendly and also provide as much help as possible including recommending us some nice places for dinner. Inside the room, even though the restroom was kind of little, but the bed, the lighting of the room and the AC were all wonderful. Another thing worth recommending is the cleaning of the room. Every day when I back to the room, I could see the room that was cleaning nicely, that was really makes me feel pleasure. I want to said thank you for those helping us cleaning the room.

I was very pleased with the location of the hotel, it is very convenient to get to the main attractions both on foot and by transport. Unfortunately, they did not mention that the hotel was under construction at the time. From the window, I had a view of the construction site, which was located right at my floor level. I was unable to open the curtains during my stay, as workers were working directly outside the window. Additionally, a few days later a partition was installed along the entire length of the window, transforming the room into a totally closed space.This was a significant disadvantage, it was very uncomfortable, since the room was very small in order not to open the curtains at all. In addition, upon closer inspection, the room looked tired: there were dirty wallpaper, stains on the carpet and bed linen, and a very noisy air conditioner. Despite this, the hotel did have the amenities I needed, such as a laundry service, everyday cleaning, wow-pass machine. I also wanted to visit the rooftop bar and restaurant, but they were closed due to construction work.

We arrived early in the morning and requested an early check-in, but were disappointed to find the hotel fully booked. Exhausted from our journey, my husband approached the reception again. Through the kindness of the staff, especially Mr. Jun, we were graciously accommodated with an early check-in at no extra cost. We are deeply grateful for their exceptional customer service and hospitality. Thank you very much, Mr. Jun, and the staff at IBIS Styles Hotel, for going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. We also requested an early breakfast, which they kindly provided, because our tour started early in the morning and the regular breakfast service began at 7:30 am. Additionally, we requested extra pillows, which were promptly provided. They even guided us to a taxi for our tour destination. Lastly, through the kindness of another staff member, Ms. Annie, we requested a late check-out, and they kindly allowed us to stay until 2 pm at no extra charge. We will definitely recommend IBIS Styles Hotel to others and look forward to staying here again in the future. Thank you once again, entire IBIS team for making our stay memorable and enjoyable.

Very basic hotel, I stayed on the 20th level, there was another hotel being built outside my window and the restaurant on the level above was being renovated, works started at 5am. Water in the shower was barely warm but did improve after I spoke worth engineering. Bed was comfortable and only 1km or so to city centre.

Decent hotel in a good location in Myeong-dong. Surprisingly quiet even when located at a Main Street. Famous Myeong-dong streets are in walking distance and there are multiple bus routes and a subway station nearby. We used to stay in Mapo before but this area is also good to get around Seoul quickly. Hotel is decent and there are many cafés, bakeries around.
