I stayed here for 7 nights in July. Pros: Hotel facilities, location, room amenities, management, room service Loved the full sized gym with a great skyline view, the huge jacuzzi and 2 pools (big indoor pool and smaller rooftop pool) (Note: you need to book the pool). Super convenient location, next to 2 convenience stores, money exchangers and 10/10 food options in the nearby streets. Perfect for getting around the Dongdaemun area and all the shopping centres nearby! About a 30 minute walk to the hustle and bustle of Myeongdong. Subway station was about an 8min walk. Room was very well stocked with cutlery, bowls, dishes, pots, a microwave, kettle, detergents and washing/dryer machine (essential for longer stays). Room service was delicious and we enjoyed the many side dishes. Steak and truffle fries were 10/10, although steak could be a bit bigger for the price. Beef bone soup was better outside the hotel 5/10. Special shout out to the duty manager, J who was amazing, going above and beyond to try and locate a missing item for me. So grateful for all his effort and kindness in helping me :) Cons: It would have been 5 stars if the curtains weren't so dusty! Just take note if you have dust allergies.

Fabulous location. Most tourist spots are easily accessible. Excellent facilities. George in concierge was attentive, friendly and helpful. He stored our luggage and arranged a taxi to the airport. Would recommend the Novotel for a stay in Seoul.

I stayed here for 5 days and it was a good experience overall. A good location which is a 10 minute walk from DDP station which has 3 subway lines that connects you to most attractions in Seoul within 10 minutes. Service at Novotel is great with a helpful concierge and check-in counter. During my stay, I encountered an issue where my shower area was flooded with water. I called housekeeping and the issue was rectified quickly. I would like to extend my thanks to George who helped to arrange and conveyed my needs to the plumber. George stayed throughout the whole service period to ensure my partner and I were comfortable during the servicing. He was very polite and was transparent on what was being done. In addition, housekeeping noticed that my room put the "do not disturb" sign on and was unable to do cleaning for 2 days. They called to ensure that our stay was adequate and if their services were required. A very pleasant stay overall.

Wonderful hotel with great service! Everyone was friendly and helpful right when I arrived. I left an item at another hotel and right a way they took care of it. I was able to get my item the next day. The room was comfortable and views were great. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone! I will be back!

Elevators and breakfast area both are big problems in general. Breakfast table arrangement is ridiculous. I had one day on the 20f, thank god 2 days on the 19f. You will understand why it is ridiculous when you see who sits at nice tables by the windows and who sits at tables by the walkway where passerby coughs and sneezes on your plate. Not that all the tables are full and you have to sit there. It is not like that. They make you sit there even though the other tables are empty. And I do not understand why the guy at the entrance of the breakfast area decided to make me stand there pretending he couldn't find my number on the list. I saw he found the room number. 20f breakfast area and elevators would definitely pull your mood down. Other than that there is coffee in the room but they don't bother with sugar and cream, I wonder who decided that. Wendy in the front desk solved a big prob for me, I thank her again, she's a hardworking woman. And housekeeping team on the residence side is amazing. Also everything tastes delicious, I send my compliments to the kitchen teams on both 20f and 19f. Mobile connection of the room is convenient.
