Perfect!
A birthday treat for my husband, this restaurant came recommended by my friend who frequent Seoul. We loved everything we ate here, especially the first tenderloin cut as it was so perfectly seasoned, cooked and served. Each cut of beef was explained by the chef and cooked in front of us on a charcoal grill. The setting and experience was really intimate. The red Malbec Argentinian wine we chose to pair with the meats went very well, couldn’t ask for more. Our chef was patient with our courses and was super friendly throughout, allowing us to really enjoy the evening. A memorable and successful birthday and anniversary dinner for us indeed. Definitely gonna remember this for a long time.

Perfect!
I would give 10 stars if I could for the food and impeccable service. Was surprised by a birthday treat from a friend and had the dinner course. I really enjoyed every cut of the beef and how the staff was very detailed in how best to enjoy each cut. Thank you B&B, I will definitely be back (:

B1 Speakeasy set menu 380,000 each. 0 corkage fee. We expected more of this. Only a few cuts of the beef were really good, others were so so. We still prefer Japanese beef than Hanwoo. Not for marbling but for the flavor. Tenderloin, Sirloin, and Oyster Blade cuts were the best. Meat pie and Burger patty made of rump and brisket were great ??. Pho noodle was slightly hard , perhaps it’s the dried noodle ? Chef is really nice

This has gotta be the best Korean BBQ yet. Every single dish and pieces of meat was cooked to perfection. The table side service was excellent and our waiter introduced every single dish and cut with recommendations on how it should be eaten just like how local Koreans would. He was also extremely meticulous in how he cooks each piece of meat, with so much care and respect. It’s a wonderful experience and our go to Korean BBQ from now on whenever we go Seoul.

Excellent quality Korean Beef! Beef is raised locally by the owners and butchered at the local market and aged on site. The restaurant was easy to find; city hall line to line 5, to Majang station and then out exit #6. We arrived right as they opened around 6pm and it was already quite busy as other diners were checking in. We reserved about 6 weeks in advance for the casual dining experience, which was really a 5-course beef extravaganza. We started with excellent beef tartare, accentuated by sesame oil, salt, and green onion that brought out the sweetness in the beef. This was followed by multiple cuts of beef that the wonderful server cut and cooked for us. This was accompanied by all the Korean side dishes, with even greater variety than usual. I especially enjoyed all the different preparations of Kimchi. This was followed by fried rice ( with beef of course - very good, beef was outstanding) and then a beef pho noodle (just okay). The meal was concluded with a yummy creamy ice cream (I selected chocolate). For 20,000 won you could even add their special burger (which I would have loved to try had I not been stuffed). All this for about $125USD pp…which is pretty dang reasonable. Service was impeccable, we loved our server, who spoke great English and gave us wonderful local recommendations and made great conversation. I would absolutely recommend and come again.
