I travelled from Ireland and was skeptical about hotels in general given our budget constraints and size of the rooms in that budget. Hotel pj exceeded our expectations. Excellent room service, good quality beds and nice breakfast. It is also near magenta, green and orange subway lines. Excellent location. Definitely recommend.

Mid December to Late December. Me and my family took a Triple with Balcony room and a Premier room for 4 ppl. If you are looking for spacious rooms, this hotel offers it. While I dislike carpets, the rooms still feels decently clean. The walls are thin so if you happen to have neighbours who are loud... you probably going to hear some muffled conversation. They have hot and cold water dispenser on every floor, so that's extremely convenient. For microwave, only the premier rooms level will have it... as for my case it's level 5. For rooms with no microwave on their level, you can go to level 8 where the laundry area is, there's a microwave there for use. 2 washers and 2 dryers at level 8. Instructions are put on the walls on how to use it. Very convenient. The gym is more for pilates and there is a free massage chair there. Check in and out was easy. There's a free 12 hours locker room area in case you arrive early or check out early and you wish to store your luggage. Easy to use. Location wise.. While it is to not the most centralised, there 2 subway stations location near the Hotel. Chungmuro and Euljiro 4 Station. And each station offers 2 different lines which connects you to lots of areas. The walk to both station is about 4mins. Go to lobby at lvl2 if you want to head to Chungmuro station and lvl1 if you wish to go to Euljiro 4 Station. Some people might feel its far but many places are walkable and I personally feel it is alright... try to enjoy your surroundings and its culture. Overall it is a good hotel for families. Nice hotel, well situated. There were 5 of us so it would have been good if there was a bar to meet in. It was closed until the new year. The Web site and booking agencies say it has a rooftop bar and perhaps should mention that it's closed.

The staff are amazing, professional, and so helpful! The room is spacious and the location is perfect. They offer a shuttle bus that takes and picks you up at various places.

Hotel PJ was awesome! They were excellent to retrieve my lost item and keep for us till our next trip! :) love the convenient location!
