Beware of surcharges! Parking is $50/night and they tack on another $35/night just for fun. If the costs are not an issue, the hotel is beautiful and historic. The rooms are spotless. The bathroom needs updating but is meticulously clean. It’s just not a good choice for business travelers on a budget.

The Biltmore is a beautiful and historic hotel. From the moment of check in to check out I received nothing but exceptional service. I was upgraded to a suite and was impressed by the spacious room and comfortable bed. My room faced a courtyard which was peaceful and quiet. The hotel itself is like a mini museum, with so much historical significance. Breakfast was amazing and the staff were so attentive and kind. The pool has been used in different film, and is indoors so open a good portion of the day. Cannot recommend enough!

I absolutely love the history and architecture of this hotel. But what makes it the best in downtown LA is the staff they have there. Most of the staff we spoke to had been there for years. Paul at the Bell desk has 30+ years in, was extremely helpful And friendly, and gave us a great explanation of the history of the hotel as we were checking in. Eric at the bar was amazing. Super friendly, had great conversation and of course he gave us the best service. The front desk was amazing as well, accommodating us when we needed to move rooms, Without a question or charge. This will be our go to hotel when visiting downtown LA moving forward. Highly recommend.

Generally had a pretty good time during my stay here! Only things I’d say were negative, was the fact the shower went from hot to cold while you were in the shower.
Also when I got sick and had to be taken to the emergency room, the security guard escorting us down was acting like I was an inconvenience, which I don’t think is entirely fair and then when we returned from spending 12 hours in the ER, we were locked out of our room….weird but that doesn’t speak for the rest of the staff!
Everyone else was fantastic! Would stay here again.

Beautiful hotel. Loved the lobby and the rooms were clean and good size. Good location and easy walk to metro station and restaurants. The gentleman who checked me in and out was very friendly, offering me water each time. Now the bellmen were very rude. One complained about a tip. Told me I need to tip him for holding my suitcase because he won't be here when I got back. He was still there when I came back and complained about how much I gave and should have gave more. Another stopped me going in one night, said I need to stay out and leave delivery there with him. I told him I'm a guest and he followed me in until I showed him my key. He just laughed. Only issue I had with the room, the noise on the streets. You can hear everything and I stayed around the time of the strike. Fix your windows! For a 4 star hotel, should have room service.
