Good!
The atmosphere is AMAZING. When you walk Inside it’s like you’re transported back to older theaters from the golden Hollywood age. My husband and I came to SF from Sunnyvale to see the Matrix on the big screen. The people outside the theater were helpful and super friendly, but the service was another story. My husband and I ordered their bottomless popcorn, fried pickles, and a coke. It took quite awhile for us to get our order, but we chalked it up to the movie starting soon. We then ordered a refill and the table next to ours got our refill.. we then ordered a popcorn refill and another refill and we didn’t get our popcorn refill until 20 mins until the movie was going to end… and we never got our soda refill. It seemed like other people around us were getting their orders refilled but I’m not quite sure. The seats were also super uncomfortable. My husband and I decided we would come back but the service here needs some work.

Perfect!
We love this place! Our third time going and so far so good!! The churro popcorn is awesome. Love how they play clips relevant to the movie you’re seeing. We watched Lisa Frankenstein and wouldn’t have got some of the jokes without seeing the content played beforehand. 10/10 sweet date night spot! Oh, and the season pass is totally worth it!

Great!
Very cool space! I’ve only been to Alamo Drafthouses in brand new buildings. I love that they were able to use this historic theatre and keep it alive. It’s beautiful inside. I love that they offer films that are hard to find otherwise. I do wish the chairs reclined like others, they are very upright.

Perfect!
Great theater, and you can order from your seats. Super friendly staff and clean auditoriums. They do retro screenings on certain days of the week.

Great!
Fun historic movie theater restored, playing new, old, and indie films. Extensive food and drinks menu. The larger theater (1) is great, but some of the smaller ones have some awkward and obscured seating. Good queso (from Texas!) and rotating beer, cider and hard kombucha tabs. Make sure to check your food receipts carefully, we’ve had the wait staff “upgrade” our orders without asking, double charge for things, and charge for free refills of drinks and popcorn on 3 occasions.
