Food was expected from a diner, nothing special. The tastiest thing from my meal was their specialty, the milkshake. The fries weren't hot but a bit more on the warm side but there was a lot of them on my plate (their normal amount)

I loved the food and the services , the staffs are so kind and speak softly. I took out one star ? from 5 because of the presence of flies ,I hate to see flies pitching on my food while eating and I couldn't sight any insects/flies catcher installed, hoping they'll improve on that. Thank you for such a yummy meal today.

Good good, relaxing environment, attentive and friendly staff. Elgin Street Diner is known for it's consistency and 24/7 availablity. They're always always available and deliver irrespective of time of day or happenings. Also know for the delicious poutine served. Very quick turnaround time and the meals are filling offering great value for money. Comfortable sitting with children seats available. The staff were friendly and super responsive, paying attention to the orders without mixing it up. There's also a bar on site serving various drinks and cocktails.

Open since several years it's a really nice diner. Their vegetarian burger is made out of lentils and served in a beautiful manner. I loved the taste and portion. The pancakes were delicious and the servers were very helpful.

I stumbled on this restaurant today, decided to have lunch there with my 13-yr old son... and loved everything about it! The wait staff were attentive, polite and good humored, the food was fresh and the servings were generous. If you like good food in a relaxing, friendly environment this is the place!
