What a great spot! If you're looking for a meal experience then you should stop in here! But be warned, it's very popular so get on the wait list early. We loved the whole cook it yourself experience and the all you choose to eat format lets you sample lots of interesting options. Service was great and the restaurant clean and comfortable. Highly recommended if you're in Ottawa and looking for a unique experience!

We had a wonderful eating here! The customer service is 110% and the food is amazing. It was $42.99 per person (weekend price) and you definitely get what you pay for. It’s all you can eat within a 2 hr window. Also, the beer is $7.00 per pint of Sapporo which is cheap these days. One big tip is getting on the waitlist early. It’s very busy on the weekend so add yourself to the waitlist even before you leave your home. If you show up expecting a table without being on the waitlist you will get turned away Great place for a date night or take the family, kids will love it.

Make sure you get on the waitlist. Got there at our allotted time but still had to wait for a table. You can order as much as you want, beef dishes are all great, seafood dishes are a bit bland as they aren't marinated. Lamb is also very tasty. Service was good and they change the grid a few times. Dessert of creme brulee and ice cream is very good. A bit pricey as it was Christmas Eve but very good and popular place!

Gyubee is very popular on social media and amongst Ontarians. So with that, I was looking forward to finally checking it out. While I do think I’ll be back at some point, Gyubee did nothing to justify its prices. The meat was only okay, as the pork and shrimp really needed the pepper spices to have good taste. The beef was okay. Although not shown, the bibimbap was probably my favourite dish here. I was disappointed that the lunch dessert was only Melona. If I wanted that, I could’ve gone to the grocery store and picked myself up a box.

We bought the lunch menu for two people. All the dishes were delicious and the waiters were very friendly. I definitely recommend it. We entered at noon without waiting at the door.
