I arrived by car and parked in the temporary space in front of the main lobby. The check-in process was very quick and efficient. I was given two room keys, and given instructions on how to enter the hotel parking space. Essentially I had to swing around the building and go down the ramp into the underground parking. If I recall correctly, they have two levels dedicated to the Delta. I felt the parking spaces were more than fine and found myself parking in and around the same spaces as I made my way in and out of the hotel.
One of the main reasons I chose the Delta was for the gym, and I was quite pleased with the result . it was slightly on the cold side but the variety of equipment was quite good. The equipment felt new and clean and I really enjoyed my workouts during my stay.
The room was fine, most importantly, was the fact that it was quiet . The only awkward thing as I mentioned in the rooms was having that piece of furniture inside the wardrobe, which made it complicated to access the coffee machine as well as getting my clothes in and out of the wardrobe. Besides that everything was fine the staff was pleasant to deal with and I will definitely consider going back to the Delta next time. I am in Ottawa.

Booked a king room. Upon check in was told I was upgraded to a king room because of my status. Showed that I already had a king room booked on my app and was told it shows that because of the upgrade(??). I should have been upgraded to a suite which was available. Was told I’ll need to pay an additional 100/night for the room and club access (which is supposed to be part of my status anyways).
King bed room and washroom are very small. Barely enough room for one person. Went to charge my phone and plugs next to bed don’t work. Ceiling has multiple cracks. Shower has very little pressure.
I’ve stayed here multiple times in past but it’s age and upkeep is really showing. Lobby and staff are nice.
While it looks like others have had similar complaints which have been acknowledged by management - the question is what are they doing about it

Stay somewhere else. Expensive hotel not up to expensive hotel standards. The staff were nice, gave me chocolates for International Women’s Day. Lobby and restaurant were nice and new. Hotel room was out-dated and in need of repairs, smallest mini fridge I’ve ever seen and wasn’t even a microwave in our room. Bathrooms were so small you had to stand beside the toilet to open the door. Sauna was not in nice shape. For the price you pay, plus $20 per day parking, I definitely would’ve stayed elsewhere. Too dingy and run down for $200 a night.

What can I say we took our kids to Ottawa, and the delta exceeded our expectations !
The food in both the Elite lounge & Prova Restaurant was amazing! The service from check in to check out was second to none!
During our stay the Valet & Bell Service was amazing, prompt and very kind given we had our two children with us.
The restaurant & lounge service was over and above, and the Food & Beverage Director Rita went over and above the call of duty for us!
Thank you Delta, we have a new favourite Marriott hotel in Ottawa !

The hotel's location was great, and the cleaning staff were friendly and accommodating. However, our room wasn't up to par. We found an open water bottle left behind, the shower was broken, and the windows were very dirty. Additionally, there were only two cups for coffee and two stir sticks provided. Another issue was the security system. To access your room, you're supposed to tap your card in the elevator, but the tap didn't work, allowing anyone to go up or down and access guest rooms. This was concerning, especially since the hotel has a door to Tim Hortons, so anyone could enter. Due to these issues, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
