We enjoyed an 8 night stay and with Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador status we received an ocean view upgrade on a higher floor. There is also a special area (not at the front desk) for Ambassador's to check in. They also provided a welcome gift with Hawaiian cookies. The breakfast amenity was great as well, you just have to pay for tip (which the staff at the buffet are all great and very attentive). There is an option to upgrade but we found that the omelet station, with fruit and pastries was sufficient. As a couple who lives and works out of hotels we also enjoyed the activities on property. Each morning at 8am they have yoga classes, plus some other exercise classes throughout the week. The location changes based on weather but it was enough enough to find. Plus there are some painting classes that you have to register for in advance that were fun. (this is all included in your resort fee). Plus the access to beach chairs was great as the beach is across the street. Overall it's a decent option with great access to the beach. As an Ambassador there are higher end Marriot properties on island but if you're looking for something low key and a little less pricey this is a good option. Manage your expectations and you will enjoy your stay.

The bar staff is amazing, Liz and Andy are phenomenal. Were the sole attraction for after hours entertainment. The location and rooms were great, plenty of attractions around it. I only wish the game room stayed open past 10pm. Always a great time!

great experience at this hotel. very spacious and expansive area, lots of in-hotel stores and shops, many activities for children and adults. there’s an adult only game area with pool, shuffle board, ice hockey, etc. View from my room was not the best with respect to view of the ocean, but it was still really nice. Pools and Jacuzzi were also awesome. easy access to beach and can get hotel chairs/water boards, towels etc. Only downside is it’s near the edge of the hotel strip, many of the fancy shops and other places you want to see are near the center. but still it’s nice walk over so not big deal

There is nothing special about this hotel. I would not stay here again! As we speak, for the second night in a row, my family and I are having to endure the drumming, screaming and yelling of the luau. I have a special needs child who is highly sensitive to loud anything! After a day in the sun, I want to relax. I cannot leave the patio door open for some fresh air as my room is directly above the stage. Even with the slider closed, it’s so loud! Checking in was a giant pain even though I had multiple conversations prior to arriving due to a need for ADA accommodations. Still couldn’t get it right. Waited over 20 minutes twice for elevators. I realize that is not the hotels fault however, getting to the beach is a trek. The beach has a break wall so it’s not the most picturesque and I have a child in a wheelchair. Most hotels have a beach wheelchair (they tour beach front but not exactly…). This hotel does not have a beach chair but they DO have a very large luggage scale!? WTH? That said, I cannot get my kiddo onto the beach. I’m shocked at a Marriott property. As an Elite Platinum member, I’m very disappointed in this hotel and lack of accommodation.

Good hotel for vacation. I wouldn't stay here for work because everything, including food is priced for resorts. You'll be paying for breakfast. Great location on beach. Lots of dining options. Lots of little stores if you forget something at home. Lots of options for tours and that sort of stuff. Parking is expensive, don't get a rental car if you don't need it.
