The door handle came off so the hotel changed our room to a lower floor. Views of both rooms were unplesant. Strands of hair in a corner of the toilet. Sticky stuff on the toilet seat. Sigh...

Not so bad for a 3-star hotel. We complained about some previous guests' hairs in the bathroom and were promptly upgraded to a deluxe room with two double beds. The water pressure for the showers could do with some tweaking. There are some bars and restaurants not too far from the hotel.

Shangria beach tourist hotel in Mokpo. 5 stars to the great location of this hotel, however, the service mind of its staff as well as lack of communication skills disappointed me so badly. I asked for the room that has the open view of the beach; then the staff agreed the same. When I went upstairs and finished unpacking, the only thing i could see through the window was a Motel. Speaking to a receptionist, he asked me later that If I was willing to pay more and upgrade. Information was given wrongly and I felt being fooled for a second. This hotel has average amenities but one thing that was exceptional- a fragrance spray for clothes. Room was quite small for the price I have purchased. I spent many nights in various hotels around the world; this hotel seemed to have a very minimum quality that i was seeking for; which are security and a comfort. I was okay anyway until i found a ripped towel in my bathroom. That was really big enough to capture my attention. Here i will attach a picture so you see it is no joke. I have no idea what is the procedure of cleaning staff handling this matter; I definitely was an unwelcomed guest. Shangria hotel with 3 stars does not make any sense. Next time I would just go to motel, I wont be missing anything too much. Thanks for reading, hopefully it was helpful to you all!

Average hotel with courteous staff. Location is perfect to stay. Everything is nearby. Language is a barrier bt not much issue. Breakfast is limited. Only korean food available, one has to go out for other cuisines. Expensive food at the hotel compare to outside. Rooms are clean bt small. Overall good place to stay.

Nice hotel with good and fast service. Rooms were a little dirty, but acceptable.
