The people working here were kind and nice and led us into the restaurant. The whole atmosphere is very, very typical Korean restaurant and some foreigners would be held back because of the "typical chaotic Asian restaurante schematics". Mind you, this place does not look like a fancy restaurant that you would take your SO out for dinner, but it's one of the best out here, so try to convince them with this fact. There are not a lot of options here, there's soy sauce and hot pepper paste pork bulgogi as the main dish but both of them were overall okay. I wouldn't really get my hopes high on the quality and the quantity of the meat since although it looks a lot, they have veggies on the bottom to make it a lot larger than it seems, but still it was just enough for us to eat. Veggies are literally free to take them so make sure you eat a lot of veggies. Do not get the 감자전(potato pancakes). They were extremely oily and tasteless. I had better potato pancakes in a tteppokki joint. The overall experience was good, but I do have to say it's one of those "Gave 4 star rating because of the area". There are better ssambap places in Seoul, but this place is the go-to place when you're travelling in Gangwondo.

Exactly what you expect.

I ordered two portions of soy sauce and red pepper sauce, and both were delicious. The ssam vegetables were fresh and good, and the main side dish and dolsot rice with soybean paste were also delicious.

The taste is not satisfactory for the price. The beef bulgogi is overcooked and the abalone bibimbap also has a very fishy smell. The pork has a mediocre taste and there is cabbage on the bottom to make it look like a lot, but I would rather eat it if it comes stir-fried together because there is just raw fish on top. It made me laugh, but the scenery was nice.
