We absolutely loved this hotel! We are from here but came for a romantic escape. We were so well accommodated by lobby, the room was amazing and felt so clean. The sauna is the best thing ever. Pool was swarming with kids and even the jacuzzi ?. Parents… please let the adults enjoy the jacuzzi and have them just enjoy the pool…. Very sad for people trying to escape every day life. Sigh. The hotel should do something about this and put a sign 18+ only for jacuzzi. A lot of hotels do this and the kids perfectly understand. We could not enjoy the pool even early in the morning 7 am was already full of kids. Thus we could only enjoy quiet time away from kids in the room. Staff was so friendly, we would def come back, just definitely not during high season (christmas holidays).

Second time visiting and first time after a large remodel. We had the basic room, which while small was adequate and cozy. We had a giant window looking out on the city. Breakfast is great, bar is fancy, but welcoming, staff is uniformly polite and friendly. Great sauna, hot tub, pool area. And it's located right above the underground mall, so in the winter you can walk all over town without having to brave the treacherous sidewalks. Overall, a great hotel, whether you're in town for business or pleasure.

I have been a loyal customer to this hotel for over 20 years and I will not change that for anything. I am a frequent traveller and I can tell that this hotel is unique. The comfort, the service and above all the staff. Whether at the front desk, at the restaurant or at the Fairmont Gold lounge, I have always been treated like a family member. And now the new generation of staff is as smiling, welcoming and helpful as those who have been there for a long time.

Booked a room here through an agent and got a pretty sweet deal including food credit and daily breakfast, which were good value! Rooms are comfortable although you do have to request for certain amenities since they don’t auto provide everything. Location is great, especially if you’re looking to tour the city! I did find it weird that I had to pay for luggage storage given the premium cost of the rooms, as well as tax for my complimentary breakfast - they come across as hidden fees which are never good practice.

Best place to stay in downtown Montreal. Elegant, modern, artistic. I got the signature gold room with complementary breakfast and access to 21st floor lounge. The SPA is nothing but perfect, great and cozy pool, Jacczi and sauna. I tried full boy relaxing massage. One of the best I have in Canada. I will name the massage therapist, Mackenzie did a fantastic job asking questions and going very smoothly and professionally. The 10 floors gold signature room was spacious and had private hottub. Elegance in all details. The hotel provide valet parking at a decent price. All in all it is the true 5 stars hotel. Will sure come again
