I'm quite surprised at the below 4/5 star ratings of this chicken restaurant because my partner and I absolutely enjoyed their crispy and tender fried chicken. The price is affordable too (see my attached pictures). We finished everything with a beer Apparently, this brand "Jin Mi" (진미) is the only official brand and outlet in the entire country. So the other chicken restaurants with the name Jin Mi outside of this particular restaurant at Suwon are all not original. That being said, you should visit this fried chicken place if you're in Suwon. But be mindful that the queues could be quite long

Possibly the most crowded and popular fried chicken stall in the Suwon Chicken Street, many koreans from other districts and cities travel here to eat the chicken as Jin Mi Chicken refuses to open franchise outlets, this outlet is their one and only outlet. They only serve 3 types of chicken: original flavour fried chicken, spicy fried chicken and oven roasted chicken. We tried the normal fried chicken and it was amazing, its nothing like KFC or Popeyes, the batter is crispy and fragrant, not salty nor powdery. Side dishes like kimchi and crispy snacks were provided for free. It is recommended to pair the fried chicken with Terra beer for the best Fried Chicken experience. 1 whole chicken only costs 18000 won and can be shared amongst 2 pax.

Place that is super clean and has one of the crispiest chickens in Korea. If you want to feel the flavors of a market bought chicken in Korea this is the recommended spot. the whole street is full of chicken stores that have been operating for years. its a fried chicken haven

A solid fried chicken restaurant. I recommend getting both plain and spicy sauce, it's more sweet than spicy. This place is more on the traditional fried chicken, so no modern flavouring, etc. A good choice for Chimaek night.

The chicken was decent had crispy, spicy, and whole. The whole chicken was a bit on the dry side (perhaps this is how it is normally cooked). The half spicy half crispy was good. Does the restaurant live up to the hype? Ehhh...maybe not.
