Hole in the wall place with limited standing space and no sitting. Tables are not cleaned so expect little hygiene. Overall food was disappointing but chaat was yummy - will recommend only chaat here.
Bhalla papadi chaat was yummy - very fresh light and tasty.
Gulaab jamun was also good.
Shahi paneer was very delicious and flavorful.
Rajma chawal were homely and flavorful.
Achari paneer tikka was bad - tasted like an oily mix of Chinese chilli paneer and Mughals paneer tikka.
Daal makhni was average.
Thali was also not good - mix veg was dry and not flavorful. Rice was average.

Not sure about the hygiene here but food was definitely tasty. Tried chhole bhature, some chats, paneer starter, thali and everything was lip smacking. Its standing only place so no seating available. Usually crowded. Its not the cleanest place as we could see rats roaming around so go at your own risk ?

A road side food counter in downtown heart of Connaught palace delhi with having few tables kept in front by the side of road. People can go for a veg and light food by standing over there. It is in front of khadi uddyog bhawan. Very crowded area and counter as well. You need to get payment done first as per menu and then move to next counter with the receipt to receive it.
Hou can have food get it finished by standing over there or can take away too. Waste bins are well placed. Their staffs keep a keen eye over the wastages littered there.
Recommend if u r in hurry or want to have light food. Good for a single visit and afterwards u can if it gives a good taste to your toungue

Place remains crowded due to its location and rates as compared to the nearby eateries in the Cannaught Place market. Don't expect a sitting or standing place at such a crowded place, but service and cleanliness can be improved. Taste is also normal and on a mediocre side. Still you must visit the place if you are Cannaught Place.

Naam bade aur darshan chote would be the perfect explanation to give one line review to this place.. Jain chawal wale was one hyped place I visited in Delhi.. it was just crowded but the food was merely average.. tried rajma chawal and took a platter of chur chur naan.. rajma we just plain and tasted no less than just daal rather than rajma.. I have tasted rajma far much better than they served.. and chur chur naan platter was okayish.. they gave plain naam instead of chur chur naan.. had to finish it somehow..
