Perfect!
The first thing I want to say is this hotel is kids friendly hotel. They have several kids play areas like driving center, play rooms. I saw a lot of family with kids enjoyed the breakfast. Hotel serves kids plates and utensils with high chairs. Room was clean and cozy. They have a little terrace to the ocean. Sitting down on the chair at the terrace and feel the ocean breeze made me realize that I’m in Busan! I went to the spa&sauna early in the morning it’s clean and nice. There are 3 tub inside and one at the outside. Outside tub has very hot water but looking at the ocean in the tub was amazing experience. Staff are nice and easy to make a restaurant reservation in the hotel. FYI; Outdoor swimming pool doesn’t allow less than 4years old

Good!
A great location on the beach. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Paradise Hotel but it doesn’t come without a few “buts”. The service was very patchy and we actually had a staff member knock on the door repeatedly before he forced his way into our room. When he saw I was in bed, he quickly left the room and provided no explanation. This experience made us feel quite uncomfortable. The room was quite dated too considering the price. The real draw card is the beach and I would have loved to stay here in summer! Worth it for the location.

Perfect!
The beat experience with such lovely staff. They were having their anniversary celebration for the hotel, so they greeted us with the best macarons I've ever had. We let them know we were there celebrating our honeymoon, and they sent us wine and chocolates to enjoy in our room. They gave us an amazing view, late check-out option, and the amenities in the room itself were so luxurious. Soft robes, slippers, lotion, skincare, and your typical shower items. There was a tub and separate shower, and a salon style hairdryer. I wish we could've stayed the whole week! We will absolutely be back to celebrate our anniversary in the coming years. Thank you so much, Paradise hotel!

Not bad
On the plus side, the room was modern and decently sized, with excellent housekeeping service and a comfortable bed. The hotel also has a great location. Unfortunately, overall, it left a lot to be desired and we had various issues throughout our stay. 1) Due to an overnight flight, we arrived at around 8:30 a.m. I was feeling miserable, because I was ill and hadn‘t slept. They said they could not accommodate an early check-in because they were fully booked, which is understandable. However, they were also not able to offer any kind of suggestion whatsoever regarding where we could go to rest (such as a relaxation area in the on-site spa) or spend time until check-in, and were generally unhelpful and unconcerned in simply saying, “come back later.” We had to book another hotel just so I could lie down for a few hours. 2) When we returned later for check-in, the staff member checking us in whispered throughout the whole process. Combined with less-than-confident English, it was very hard to understand her, and my husband had to lean over the desk, turn his head, and ask for things to be repeated. He was also asked to sign various agreements in Korean without any explanation of what they were. When asked, she could not explain but agreed with my husband’s suggestions (privacy policy, etc.). 3) The room had various stains across the walls, and there was mold on the ceiling and walls of the shower. We also had an issue with an overhead light in the entryway that would not shut off, so we had to call someone at midnight before we could go to bed. To their credit, staff members came quickly, turned it off for the night, and then replaced it while we were out the following day. 4) The breakfast buffets are only open until 10 a.m. Our included breakfast was in the Paradise Lounge, a much smaller facility than the main buffet restaurant. We arrived at 9:50 on the first day in the full knowledge that we could only quickly take some things from the buffet and then sit down to eat, but were made to feel unwelcome. The attendant removed the names of items just before 10:00, just as my husband was walking up to them. Around 10:20, we were told to leave because they had to “clean the whole room.“ This has never happened to me at any other hotel, be it 3 stars or 5. Every other hotel I’ve stayed in has let me sit and finish my breakfast. They could have just cleaned the buffet first. There were also few veggie options at breakfast and no lactose free milk or milk alternatives and no offer to get any when I asked (I‘m lactose intolerant). Since I was made to feel so unwelcome and didn‘t feel like getting up at 8 to have breakfast on my honeymoon (and while I wasn‘t feeling well), I did not return to breakfast. I was hoping to enjoy a room service breakfast instead, but since that also ends at 10 a.m., I missed it completely. 5) The room service menu has exactly one veggie item on it (egg mayo sandwich) and no vegan options. The minestrone soup my husband ordered for me when I wasn‘t feeling good is not veggie (chicken broth) and has bacon in it, which was disclosed in the Korean text but not the English translation. When he pointed this out, they comped the soup and also made me a veggie minestrone and salad with egg and tofu the next day, which was a nice gesture. I would have still appreciated it if there were more options for me, and I‘m sure there are other vegetarian/vegan travelers. Overall, this hotel just did not live up to a five-star standard and was in some ways even less accommodating than more basic hotels I‘ve stayed in. I would look for other options in the area next time.

Perfect!
Paradise well honored the American Express Fine Hotel and Resort deal including ample reasonable ways to spend the $100 usd per room hotel credit (restaurants, bakery, etc). Excellent service. Staff are very attentive. The hotel is clean. Rooms have spectacular view of the beach. Great singer and musicians at lounge. Onsen is fun. Swimming pool is lively at night.
