A beautiful hotel, in a fantastic location, a few minutes walk from the well serviced central pier (we found that river travel is the best way to get around to avoid traffic). The beds are very comfortable and the breakfast selection outstanding. The fabulous Icon Siam mall is right across the river and worth a visit. There are some great local restaurants around this hotel too for those who want to venture out. We plan to return and would recommend this hotel.

What a beautiful hotel in such an amazing city. Please be aware the room you choose will most likely dictate how your stay goes. If you choose the most basic rooms they may be a bit outdated but for the price you get what you pay for. We booked a horizon club room and upon checking in @ 12pm the room was not ready so we were upgraded to a suite on a different floor and we still had horizon club access. The suite was great very spacious and clean and had a complimentary mini bar. The room service food was great as we're all the restaurants on site. The daily breakfast buffet had everything you could hope for including vegetarian/vegan options. The horizon club was a nice touch especially afternoon tea with little snacks. The spa was also fantastic we had a wonderful experience. Book a higher class room and you will really enjoy your stay here.

The pool area was large and spacious. Lots of sun beds with adequate shading and towel service. Breakfast buffet not included with room rate so I wouldn’t bother. Lots of tastier restaurants and cafes within walking distance at a cheaper price. Rooms didn’t have any outlets next to the bedside so it was inconvenient charging phones. Rooms had great views of river even partial view room. Boat service across the river was excellent and day spa was amazing! Super luxurious.

Having stayed at the Shangri-la in Cebu, we decided to visit here for a drink whilst staying in Bangkok. The hotel looks excellent once you enter, and there was an afternoon tea dance taking place. We took a drink on the decking by the river and it was very convivial. If staying, we would have been a little concerned by the availability (lack) of vacant sun beds around the pool. That said, it certainly looks like a nice place to stay

Overall had a good experience! Location: 5/5 - right along the water and near the train station! Easy to access the river cruises, malls, and city. Staff: 4/5 - overall staff was very kind and helpful. My only issue is regarding the communication. Some members seem to be weak in English which made communicating difficult. We spoke to the restaurant who said there was no room service fee, yet when we ordered room service there was a fee; not a huge deal but wish the communication was better. Rooms: 5/5 - spacious, comfortable, absolutely beautiful if you get a balcony room facing the water! Rooms were always cleaned and made beautifully. My one complaint is regarding the ferry shuttle. This hotel ends their ferry shuttle before 6 PM. Considering all the night activities and nearby mall, this was inconvenient. Other hotels have their boats running much later.
