Great!
One of the famous places for Korean BBQ. This restaurant is located on Hongdae walking street, very easy to find. They offer austrialia wagyu beef, very good taste but not that expensive.

Perfect!
This has literally become our #1 favorite Korean BBQ place in the world. We came on a recommendation as it was a fair distance from the hotel, and I was slightly hesitant as there were so many closer options. But we sprung for the cab ride and walked to the restaurant as this is in kind of a shopping district. You have to sign your name and number in the party on the whiteboard in front, but we only had to wait a couple of min as we were there early. They have the menu in English as well as a couple of other languages, but it doesn't really explain the cuts well so it's easier to pull up some pictures and point out what looked good to you. There are a lot of recommendations for their soybean soup - and I'm adding to that list. We tried a bowl and it was fantastic! The sides were also incredible and my MIL couldn't get enough of the small crabs in red chili sauce. She probably would have had just that for dinner. The coals are very hot as others have noted and the beef will cook up very quickly. There are several dipping options you can use; bean, some type of light sweet sauce, but the star of the show is their custom herb salt. Cook up the beef, sprinkle a little of the salt on it (better than dipping as that can get too much on it) and eat your little piece of Nirvana! They have some type of seasoned beef (salt, pepper, and garlic) but we were enjoying the beef with salt so much we never tried that option. Note that the beef, while delicious, wasn't anything special so I have to give it to the seasoning. We liked it so much we ordered a bunch of bottles to take home and give out as gifts. I'm going to try some at home shortly so hope it lives up to the restaurant experience. The price was extremely reasonable - about $50 per person for a 5 star meal. Overall we're definitely going to return the next time we're in Seoul. Highly recommended!!

Perfect!
Beef was amazing. You must order their doenjang stew with wild chives! Do note that the heat from the charcoal is pretty intense so you might feel it on your face after the meal.

Perfect!
Really very good cuts , and also affordable ! We went early to queue before the store opens and it was a good thing we did this because the store is quite small about 10 to 15 tables fit for upto to 4 pax per table. We ordered Set A and B to try out the different meat/cuts and find that the 꽃살 was the best ! Do get the deonjjang jjigae and the bibim naengmyeon to go with the meal they are really good too !!!! Side dishes are very generous , even had the yangnyeom gejang as well which was a real treat ?

Great!
Korean Bbq, Soybean Soup. A popular korean bbq with a few outlets in Seoul. Visited the Hongdae branch. The meat cuts were shiok and the atmosphere is shiok. The restaurant provides English and Chinese menu so its pretty foreigners friendly.
