My first time visiting this bbq and was blown away by the food and service. The pork belly was grilled to perfection. Pairing the meat with the grilled veg was heavenly and a genius idea. The staff are all very friendly. Will definitely be back again.

We enjoyed a nice lunch here in the Hongdae area of Seoul. They specialize in pork which is my favorite KBBQ to grill, and there’s usually a long waiting list at dinner time, so we decided to come here when they open around noon for lunch. When we arrived, just one table was occupied and we picked where we wanted to sit. Was excited to try a different way to eat grilled pork belly. Service was pretty good since it was just two tables. Food presentation was not bad. The side dishes were okay, nothing special about them and no reason to order a refill. The pork belly quality was fine, and pretty good for the price. Overall, a nice experience eating at this restaurant with my eating buddy.

We arrived at 12 noon and there is a queue. We were 5th on the line and got our table at 12.30pm. The bbq pork belly with watercrest is a really excellent combination. The staff cook it to perfection. The watercrest pancake is equally good. It is near the line park. Well worth the wait.

Ordered the most popular barbecue pork belly with parsley set, and the parsley pancake. The pork belly was lacklustre. It was well barbecued but I don’t think the pairing with parsley did the pork justice. Maybe it’s a personal preference issue. The parsley pancake was good though. It was crispy and had a flavourful dipping sauce. Next time, I would skip the parsley with the pork, or go to another store.

We came in at around 4.20pm and we were the only customers, but it was soon full house by 5.30pm. Pork belly was cooked by the staff to perfection, tender and juicy. Water parsley was also a great combination, soaking in the pork belly juices. I really enjoyed the soybean stew here too, since they made it a little spicier than usual. Great food and great price, would visit again!
