I had a fantastic stay at the W! I was a bit worried due to the low rating on Google, but I had no major issues to dampen my experience. I arrived extra early and the hotel was able to provide me with a room and check me in early. I was pleased with how clean the entire hotel was, especially in my room. I stayed in a “Wonderful” layout room - the rooms definitely have unique layouts, but I did not mind as everything functioned well. The bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. It was perfect for those who enjoy a plush mattress, and the linens were amazing. It was a bit low to the ground, which could be a consideration if you have knee issues. I personally enjoyed the multiple lighting settings. The “Hello” setting was certainly bright enough to illuminate the room for working, and the “Mood” setting was perfect for relaxing after a long day. I do wish the curtains were easier to open and close, as I needed to climb on the ledge behind the bed to reach the pulls for them. The bathroom sink was a little awkward; it was long and flat with the faucet being placed in a position that made it difficult to wash your hands. The noise level from outside was very low despite being in a busy area. Noises from the hallway were very loud inside my room, whether it was people talking loudly or doors slamming. I found the service to be pleasant and accommodating, particularly the housekeepers who were so kind and helpful. While I didn’t dine at the in-hotel restaurant, I did enjoy the Sitting Room lounge/bar, where they had tasty cocktails and snacks. The location can’t be beat!

The W delivers on style and atmosphere. The lounge was elegant and lively, with live music that elevated the whole experience. The corner room was exceptional, modern, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with a stunning view. From start to finish, the W felt upscale and memorable. It's expensive but worth the money, in my opinion

Had an amazing stay at the W Philadelphia. I booked a mega room and was upgraded by a staff since it was my first time. What an incredible upgrade. The staff were super helpful and friendly. The lobby turns into a lounge with a DJ. Such a vibe. Would highly recommend to stay or swing by for a drink. Very cute spot.

Stayed here this past weekend in the Spectacular, Guest Room, 1 King. The room is spacious and the overall look is pretty nice! The furniture is a bit too dark for my preference. Bed was comfy and was happy to have a big couch by the window overlooking the city. Ordered room service late night and food came up fairly quick and tasted good. There is a fridge/snack area but those have a charge—didn’t see a list of prices for the items though. We did mobile check-in via the Marriott app and using the mobile key was easy. Concierge/front staff could have been a bit friendlier, we didn’t feel welcomed when entering the hotel at any time—no one really acknowledged us, so even non-guests could come in at any time without anyone paying attention. Lobby area is pretty nice—the bartenders were so friendly! We heard at night they have a live DJ which we saw when coming back Saturday night—tons of people!

Had a great stay at W Philadelphia. The hotel has a unique and stylish theme that adds to the experience. The staff was accommodating, and my room was clean and well-maintained. Housekeeping did a fantastic job refreshing the room between nights, which was much appreciated. One of the highlights was the amazing city view from my room, making for a great atmosphere. The hotel also has a spa, which is a nice bonus for those looking to relax. The location is another plus—situated in a good area with restaurants and bars within walking distance, making it convenient for dining and exploring the city. Overall, it was a solid stay with a mix of comfort, good service, and a great location. Would definitely consider staying here again!
