Good!
John was very very sweet. When I asked him a question he answered with a smile & made us feel so comfortable & welcomed! It was our first time there so we didn’t get the same vibe from everyone.. he was also so sweet when we left. He was just a sweet guy & he deserves the recognition! A very nice guy!! He is the only reason for the stars!! Thank you John!!

Perfect!
★★★★★ The Ritz-Carlton, Philadelphia delivers an unforgettable luxury experience from the moment you step through its grand doors. Housed in a beautifully restored historic building, the hotel seamlessly blends timeless elegance with modern comfort. The lobby is breathtaking—with its soaring columns and opulent rotunda, it feels like stepping into a palace. The service is truly world-class. Every staff member we encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay exceptional. The rooms are immaculate, stylish, and incredibly comfortable, with plush bedding, marble bathrooms, and sweeping views of the city skyline. Dining at Aqimero, the on-site restaurant, was another highlight—delicious food, creative cocktails, and a sophisticated atmosphere. The location is unbeatable too—right in the heart of Center City, within walking distance of historic landmarks, great shopping, and top-tier dining. Whether you’re visiting for business, a special occasion, or a relaxing getaway, The Ritz-Carlton, Philadelphia offers a five-star experience in every sense. Can’t wait to return! ✨??????

Perfect!
Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. The hotel is well kept and definitely says luxury. The staff are friendly and attentive..the lobby is grand and beautiful with a nice bar and a light show in the evening. The rooms are large with lots of space. Seating areas and chairs and a desk. The beds are cozy although a double is a little tight. They will bring up a cot if you ask though. We loved our room. The bathroom was also big. Tub, shower, and a separate toilet area. Nice toiletries and fluffy towels and a robe. Great views and perfect for seeing city hall, the local museums and historical landmarks. Plenty of great restaurants nearby as well.

Good!
This hotel does not rise to the level of luxury or what you'd expect from a Ritz Carlton. I've listed the pros and cons below, but the headline to me is "the main attraction is the lobby and location, but little attention to details that make an elevated stay." That being said, I don't think the price is justified for this hotel. Pros: -Location! In a great spot to walk anywhere - Independence Hall, convention center, Reading Market, dinner, bars, etc. -Beautiful lobby (pretty much the main attraction of this hotel) -Aquimero, the restaurant in the lobby, is yummy. Was always able to get a table with little wait. -Staff was wonderful - housekeeping was prompt, kind. Check-in was smooth. I know they have good and kind workers here. Neutral: rooms are fine. Nothing "wow-factor" but not really anything to complain about. Cons: -I can't get over how thin and cheap the toilet paper is. How are you going to be a Ritz Carlton and have the thinnest and cheapest toilet paper in the rooms?! -Water pressure in the shower was minimal, and this takes away a whole star for me. I can't stand low water pressure and showers take forever. Again, not feeling luxurious waiting for shampoo to get rinsed out for 10 minutes. -Need slow-close toilet lids. Again, attention to details -Thin sheets/bedding. I was freezing and really didn't have any big comforter to keep me warm. -Wondering why there was a shower AND separate bath in our room. Could easily remove the bath and extend the vanity/bigger bathroom space. -WHY is there no balcony or rooftop spot for this hotel? I would add a whole star if there was a viewpoint of the city here.

Great!
The room was decent, and the bathroom was spacious. Although we requested a room on Broad Street, we did not receive one. This was my second stay at a Ritz Carlton—my first was in Fort Lauderdale, and now in Philadelphia—and overall, it was satisfactory. The drinks, particularly the whiskey sour, were delicious, and the food at the hotel restaurant was good. The chicken Caesar salad tasted fresh. The linens and bedding were comfortable, as expected. The staff was good, and the service was standard—neither extraordinary nor impeccable. However, the location is excellent, and the area is very walkable if you plan to explore nearby attractions on foot.
