I think it's one of the best cheese steak I have had in a long time. I just wish they could chop up the meat with onions together and mix it properly to infuse the flavor of onions with the meat. . It feels dry when eating but the meat is top quality, the bread is nice crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and freshly made in house daily. Just go there before 5pm on the weekend if you want your steak or else they always run out of the bread. Aside from steak, their pizza is OK but way better crust than I ever had. It's just perfect. The pizza sauce doesn't have the kick on the flavor side but it's not bad either. It's not what you would expect from an authentic Italian pizzeria. But the crust was one of the best.. doesn't make you feel heavy because the position and ratio of sauce, cheese and bread is just perfect especially the Toronto pizza... Steak 8/10. Pizza 7/10. Worth the try but I wouldn't drive 1 hour for the pizza. However, for the steak It's worth the drive.

One of the bumpiest flights in a while and I’ve been on a lot of them! Lady a few seats over lost her lunch…I was pretty motion sick myself so had to relax for an hour…decided on linner while I was recovering and chose Angelo’s! Had heard great things about this place…cash and carryout only! Take a peek at the back of house photo…a well oiled machine…pizzas, hoagies, cheesesteaks…order on the left, pick up on the right…Vinny (see picture) sits out there and greets folks while offering guidance, like an Angelo’s Sherpa…sandwiches…well, idk if I’ve had a better steak sandwich before and I didn’t even get a cheesesteak…sat on the stoop off the barber shop next door and ate half of nut Diavlo while talking to a guy and his friends who borrowed a napkin from me, he had a stroke 7 months ago and was out with his friends and wanted to take a picture of me taking a bite ? Food brings everyone together…walked a mile or so back to the hotel, love the historic feel of this city…then ate half of my JYS hoagie at the hotel…amazing!!! I can see why people say Angelo’s is the best! They staff taking your order is great, too!

The cheesesteak was packed with generous portions of meat and cheese, making it rich, flavorful, and 100% worth the money. There was a long line when we arrived, and we waited about an hour to get our food, so don’t go there starving—but every minute of the wait was worth it. Highly recommend!

Best Cheesesteak ever. The bread is the star. Perfect crisp outside and chewy inside. Pizza is the best in Philly. Wish it had slightly more sauce but the crust was sublime.

Some of the best Pizza I have had, also best Cheesesteak I’ve had. Great bread and meat. Perfect ratio of cheese. Big fan of the mushrooms. This place is phenomenal. Skip Pats and Genos and come straight here.
