The location is excellent, near many attractions, the cable car station, one of the boat tours, and a lot of restaurants, in a quiet village, across the street from the rocky beach. It appears this is a favorite for couples spending the weekend on the island. The room was clean, and straightforward. The bathroom was a bit interesting -or an ingenius idea for a small bathroom design! The shower head came from the sink, which could be attached to the wall. It was the most peculiar design I’ve ever seen anywhere, but worked! While the hotel appears to have high end atmosphere, it’s a little strange there was no front desk staff, but self-service machines. The room can be entered with a passcode, yet there were desks for returning room keys in a multiple locations, which was also very confusing. I wasn’t sure if I checked out correctly. Not having an available staff to assist made the hotel seem less high end than what they try to appear. Someone called at 8 am, when I was barely awake, and asked about the cleaning schedule quite persistently, which wasn’t welcomed. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I would recommend and return for next time I’m back in Geojedo.

Good spot to enjoy your stay at HakDong. Clean room since its newly built hotel. Their rooftop bar is nice. But do not get thr bbq deal!! Not worth it! Also the front desk wasnt very helpful.

The questions were answered kindly, the room was clean, and above all, the barbecue I enjoyed while looking at the sea from the rooftop was impressive. Breakfast was delicious, too.

Excellent breakfast and a reasonably priced BBQ on the roof too. Pay a bit extra for a room with a sea view!
