Bamboo rice isn't that delicious as other media mentioned. The bamboo rice on the top layer was very dry and hard. On the contrary, the rice on the bottom layer had too much water and turned into a paste...

Tried the rice steamed and served in bamboo at Damyang after our visit to the bamboo forest! It came out with an assortment of side dishes, some unique to the region. It was the first time that I ever saw or tried 감태 (Greyblue Spicebush) and the 부추전 (Chives Pancakes) was different than what we find in other parts of Korea. I loved the grilled fish and the 떡갈비 (Meat patty). A must try if you visit Damyang! Bonus: After finishing your rice, you can take the bamboo cup with you as a souvenir!

The side dishes were very fresh and delicious, also the bamboo rice. You can have the bamboo as a souvenir after finishing the meal which was very interesting.

Site dishes was so fresh and delicious.For me it was so original to eat rice from bamboo.The interesting thing is that after enjoying you meal you can take the bamboo with you as a souvenir.I came there after bamboo forest so still I was in a bamboo mood haha. Nice place delicious food all I can recommend is here.

Great place to continue the bamboo journey after the Damyang Bamboo forest. The food was amazing, they had various side-dishes which were all delicious. We could take our bamboo cup after eating the rice, a nice touch to make this place and the experience memorable!
