Even though there was a long line up, everything just kind of fell into place once we got inside and started ordering our food. Service was remarkably fast. Tables cleared up quickly. Once people were done eating they would clean up and leave promptly so others could sit and enjoy the food as well. We ordered the poutine, chicken sandwich, and finished off with a small flan. Portions are massive, listed at a great price. Can't wait to visit again. so

Delicious food! This place was recommended by a friend. Though not a fan of poutine, the one i had from here was fantastic! The lady at the pastry order counter was so sweet and helpful. All smiles! When she understood that I don’t speak french, she took her time to explain the menu and suggest the food in all of the english she knew, even when people were queuing up behind me! The whole peri peri chicken was splendid! Flan petite for the dessert filled my heart.

Come on. This place is undisputed. Undefeated. If your diet allows you, treat your spirit and your senses to the dopamine explosion that is Ma Poule Moillee. Their poutine with the gravy and sausage and chicken and curds… I once had this 3 years ago and have dreamt about it since and it did not disappoint. We also had the chicken breast and quarter leg meals. Holy moly. It’s also so affordable. It’s crispy. It’s delicious. The vibes are immaculate and the flavours are in part, the reason why living is a joy. The food may shave a couple days of your life off, but so worth it. Also they had delectable looking pastries so we got a couple but are saving it for the ride home so haven’t tried them yet.

Ma Poule Mouillée is an absolute staple in Montreal for Portuguese chicken, and it never disappoints! The portions are generous, the flavors are amazing, and the prices are refreshingly reasonable—thank you for staying somewhat affordable in today’s world. The place is quite small, so don’t expect much seating. We opted for takeout, and it was perfect. One thing to keep in mind is that street parking can be limited at times, so plan accordingly. If you’re craving some delicious Portuguese chicken with great value, Ma Poule Mouillée is definitely worth it. Highly recommended!

The moment I came inside to restaurant, the smell of the roasting of the chicken made me salivate. I didn't know what to choose because everything looks good. Someone suggested the #8, the Portuguese poutine. It's was delicious! The chicken with choriço, the cheese curds, and sauce were divine. I have to come back and try the rest.
