Review
This market has become extremely popular after being featured in Netflix. So expect to see big crowds of tourists trying to catch the best photo shot or posting in social media.
It is a nice introduction to Korean traditional food without breaking the bank. The flavours are authentic and the vendors are very nice.
You can select from may stalls as they all sell pretty much the same - the ones featured in Netflix are the ones with the biggest crowds and by personal experience they are not necessarily better in flavour, just more popular.
This market opens until 10pm (11pm some stalls) so if you come past 8pm you will definitely have less people and enjoy the experience more.

A famous local market with lots of tourist due to the Netflix show - they have small stalls selling Korea street food, pancakes and the famous kalguksu. Price is reasonable.
Worth a trip if you are nearby (visiting DDP, Dongdaemun etc) but imo, not worth a special visit.

Nice experience. Was quite busy when we visited, especially around the stalls that were featured on Netflix. Food overall was good.

Huge local market and probably the biggest market in Seoul. Usually crowded with locals and tourists especially during lunch time.
Most of the food stalls selling the same stuff in the food alley. My suggestion is to look out for those food stalls patronised by the locals (Koreans) and not jam-packed with tourists ! Prices are much more expensive compared to pre-covid.
We got some souvenirs, local snacks and banchan (vacuum packed korean side dishes) here at good bargains.

An interesting market having stalls selling similar food. Mung bean pancake is good. Spicy noodle and other local food are tasty too
