Great!
Our family of 2 adults and 2 kids stayed for 1 night. We booked during a Boxing Day sale and found the value for cost very good. Our room was comfortable as were the beds. We prefer hotels with no carpet (this one had carpet) but it’s not a deal breaker. It was easy to control climate (although furnace was audible, but not a big deal). Loved that our window opened for fresh air. Bathroom faucet only had cold water so we used the tub faucet. The lobby is super cute with fish ponds and lots of fish. The breakfast was sufficient and we were glad it was included in our deal. I would not like to pay $25.99 per person. Bonus is that kids under 11 eat free. The location is awesome.

Great!
The room was quite large with a beautiful balcony view. The restaurant was delicious albeit a little pricey. The real star here is Pierre at the front desk. He went above and beyond to help me print something important. He was always there with a smile and constantly working hard. He advised me of a safer route to the train station using a map. He really should be recognized for his commitment to guest satisfaction. I have stayed at holiday inn hotels over the many years of business travel and pierre certainly stood out to me. Very clean hotel right across from the congress centre.

Perfect!
In my opinion this is the best overall hotel for visitors who want to be centrally located and within walking distance to tons of restaurants and shops. Easy to get to and convenient garage parking. Metro stop is a basically across the street. Really great value! Breakfast isn't included but many options are a stones throw away. We've always found the staff to be very fruendky, helpful and accommodating.

Great!
Comfortable, clean rooms. A bit tricky figuring out where reception was at first. Friendly front desk attendants. Beautiful restaurant, although we had planned dinner elsewhere ahead of time.

Worst.
If I could give this hotel a 0 I would. Understanding you are downtown Montreal the Marriot is way nicer and the same price. We paid $489 / a night. The 6 security guards wait for you to have a yeti in your hand out of the elevator. Not allowed to sit downstairs in the lobby. Not allowed to eat outside food or pop in the lobby. Before 11 pm they shut everything down. They asked me what drink was in my pocket and to empty my pockets out... It was iced tea. The security on one floor said go downstairs then we go down and the lobby security says no not allowed here with zero drinks. Alcohol or not. Vending machine in the lobby has snacks but not allowed to eat the snacks in the lobby. Eat in your room but it's too loud. So pretty much this hotel is for sleeping only. Rooms are not clean. Cold shower in the morning. Restaurant is over priced. And there is 5 different managers with different rules and opinions Terrible hotel. There are 17 families that booked here plus multiple others we met who are all fed up with the lack of customer service this hotel provides. I am not sure how you run a business paying 6 security guards who haras your guests with an empty restaurant. Do better
