I loved my short stay at this Hilton Garden Inn. It was exactly what I expected and needed. Rooms are a little dated, but it’s clean, and well maintained. The pool and gym area were nice, and I especially loved the sauna! Can’t beat the location. The service was also great. No complaints here! Thanks for a great couple days in Montreal

Had an excellent stay. The room was large and comfortable. The restaurant was excellent - especially loved the roasted chicken. The lobby has a pantry that was really helpful when I didn't want to run out for a snack. The staff were all friendly and helpful. My room was quiet - I was able to get a great night's sleep every night. The location was convenient to many things.

The hotel’s lighting was insufficient, and the amenities provided to gold members, such as snacks, were not available. In the lobby, adjacent to the restaurant, I observed a mouse, which raises concerns about potential health hazards. I contacted the front desk three times to request a delayed checkout, but each time, I was placed on hold and eventually disconnected. This lack of professionalism is unacceptable. I explicitly informed the front desk not to provide room service, yet the cleaning lady knocked on the door and entered the room in the morning. Based on these experiences, I would rate this hotel as a 2.5 to 3 star establishment, and I strongly advise against booking a stay here.

This hotel is ok.
For an inexpensive hotel in a great location, it works.
The rooms were big and quiet. I slept well.
The pool area and gym are great. Lovely view.
The sauna sucks. I turned it on several times and it’s still not hot enough. Warm, but not super hot.
I really wish there was a cafe in the lobby.
There is a Starbucks in walking distance, though it opens later than I’d like.
There’s a grocery store around the corner, which is super convenient for grabbing snacks and lite meals for the room.
It’s a very basic hotel.

I have nothing much to complain about except one crucial thing. The lighting is ridiculously insufficient. Mid-day in this hotel is like night time even with all the lights on. I find myself pointing the reading lights at the ceiling in a desperate attempt to illuminate the space just a bit more.
I don’t need overhead lighting necessarily, a couple extra lamps in the room would’ve been nice. The few lights in the room only diffuse light downwards leading to some unfortunate dungeon vibes
