I loved my stay here! The environment was so lovely and amazingly quiet. I stayed during both a weeknight and a weekend night, and all the guests were respectful and calm. I travelled on my own, and never felt unsafe. Furthermore, the continental breakfast was so well done. I have a gluten allergy and I was so excited that they had gluten free bagels! Would highly recommend staying here. If I was to nitpick, I would say that they should get higher quality mattresses. Nonetheless, it was still very comfortable and cozy. The coffee and tea selection they have in the room is really nice, too. Pro tip: there’s a train stop right outside the that costs like $2 to ride. So even though the location isn’t right downtown, you won’t go broke exploring.

I’ll start off by saying that we stayed between Christmas and New Years vacation and the prices were incredibly reasonable which is what mostly influenced our decision. Our room was a double queen with the interior view. Pros is definitely the value, cleanliness and little perks like the continental breakfast and complimentary coffee, water and tea all day. We didn’t use the gym so can’t comment on that. There is a nice common space with lots of roomy seating where you can eat, work or hang out. The service at the hotel was nice. Any time I asked for anything they pretty much were happy to help. The beds were comfortable but at times at night I felt itchy although sometimes my skin is sensitive. My one and only big complaint is the toilet. Not sure why but ours was very low. To get on the toilet you had to do a deep squat. I am short so it wasn’t terrible for me but my husband is over 6 feet tall and it wasn’t terrible very uncomfortable for him. We asked if we could be switched but were told most rooms have the same toilet and the hotel was full. Other than that we enjoyed our time there and I would stay there again.

I stayed at the hotel for 10 days, and it was incredibly cozy and comfortable. The receptionists were extremely kind, and the manager, a young gentleman, was very friendly and made sure I was as comfortable as possible throughout my stay. The hotel offers excellent facilities. The lobby is warm and cozy, where guests can enjoy free chamomile tea, black tea, and decaf coffee. The rooms were very clean, equipped with a coffee machine and a fridge for added convenience. The bathroom was well-maintained, complete with all necessary amenities. Housekeeping was exceptional, ensuring the room was always tidy and replenishing items like shampoo and fresh sheets regularly. The hotel's location is very convenient, with a T station right outside, making it easy to travel around the city. Additionally, the Wi-Fi connection was strong and reliable throughout my stay. While the breakfast served was good, it remained the same every day. It would be nice if the menu changed occasionally, as having the same options over time became a bit monotonous. Everything about the hotel was fantastic and I highly recommend staying here for anyone visiting.

I’ve stayed at several Sonder properties, but my experience at The Arcadian was unacceptable. Upon arrival at midnight, I was met with foul-smelling sheets (sweat, damp fabric, and unwashed laundry). I requested a room change but was denied. Instead, I was told they would hand me sheets to change myself—completely unacceptable. Even after requesting a proper linen change, the odor remained, proving poor hygiene practices. To top it off, an open juice bottle was left in my room. On March 6, I was promised housekeeping by 5 PM. At 4:50 PM, I returned to check—no one came. Yet, at 7:15 PM, I received a message falsely claiming it had been completed at 5:30 PM. The dishonesty was appalling. My key card randomly stopped working, forcing me to go down and get it fixed. The hotel is extremely noisy—you can hear doors opening and closing, conversations in the hallway, and street noise all night. After all this, Sonder offered a $30 credit, not even a partial refund. For the lack of cleanliness, misleading communication, and poor service, this was a complete insult. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

We stayed for 5 nights total and it was the most accommodating place. The staff was extra friendly and the rooms were so clean and comfortable. Everything looks new and feels clean. The lobby is huge, with many places to sit and chill. The fitness room is free and there is complimentary breakfast. The location is in a cute area that’s quiet, clean and relaxed with tons of places nearby to explore.
