I cannot recommend this hotel enough! The inside is absolutely STUNNING. If you are a history or architecture buff, you will have a field day staying here. The rooms are a bit small, but that’s to be expected with a hotel of that age. Visiting in December allows you to see the exceptional Christmas decor throughout the building. It feels like stepping back in time the minute you enter the lobby. The location is stellar - walking distance for everything: Old South Meeting House, Boston Common, Old State House and Boston Massacre Site, Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market, 2 famous burial grounds, and Park Street T stop.
The staff - Neal and Richard specifically - made our stay! They were so welcoming and helpful, providing us with plenty of water bottles and assisting us with storing our luggage and extra key cards. The staff even took pictures of my best friend and I in front of the gorgeous Christmas tree in the lobby.
If the beautiful woodwork, great location, and fantastic staff isn’t enough: maybe the Charles Dickens mirror and the fact that JFK proposed to Jackie here will draw you in!
Will definitely be returning here!

I stay in a lot of hotels for business travel and this one was very nice. The staff were super friendly and went above and beyond. The attention to detail was excellent, the room I had was on the smaller side however, it was completely fine. The location is in a good spot. We checked out and had a few hours to spend in the city and the staff treated us well, they stored our bags, offered us water, and brought the bags to the car. I was very pleased with my visit.

Stayed one night solo for a business meeting in the city. Check in was easy, room was small and clean. Bathrooms are the size you expect on a cruise; tight. Very quiet, breakfast room service was ?. Difficult to regulate room and shower temperature. The hotel is dated but at this price it is great for a one night stay in the city. Staff is fantastic. I would not stay here with my husband as bathroom and room are too small

My wife and I stayed at the Omni Parker House for a rare date night away from our two kids, and unfortunately, the experience fell well short of our expectations for a four-star hotel.
First, the room was listed as a deluxe queen, but it seemed much smaller—I'm fairly certain it was actually a full-size bed. There was nothing "deluxe" about this room; it felt like an oversized closet. The bed itself was incredibly uncomfortable with a noticeable dip in the center, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, there were maintenance issues that really shouldn’t be present at this price point: the wallpaper was peeling, the bathroom mirror was rusty, the carpet is old and dirty. Overall the rooms and hallways are very dingy and in dire need of remodeling. There is a way to maintain historic significance but elevate a space to modern standards.
To make matters worse, there was a worker's strike and construction going on right outside the hotel, which woke us up at 5 a.m. and went on late into the evening. While I understand this isn't something the hotel can control, it added to the overall disappointing experience.
For the amount we paid, we expected a lot more. I’d suggest looking elsewhere if you're looking for a comfortable, high-quality stay in Boston.

Amazing hospitality. I was in town for the Celtics game and unfortunately came down with the stomach virus during the game. I got back to my parking spot and realized I couldn’t make it home. Omni Parker was the hotel across the street from me so I booked a room. Over the course of the night, the front desk manager, John, offered to bring my key over to the parking garage across the street because it had to be moved since I would be staying overnight now. He also gave me a bowl of oyster crackers and ginger ales. I was so thankful and really appreciated the kindness, definitely makes me want to stay there again when I feel like myself!
(Beautiful hotel and clean rooms!!)
