Worst.
I had a truly terrifying experience at Marriott Boston. After a flight of over 24 hours, I was completely exhausted when I arrived. I took a shower and went straight to sleep, making sure to latch the door for security. Not long after, the doorbell suddenly started ringing. Half-asleep, I quickly put on some clothes, but the person outside kept ringing the bell and knocking persistently. I was genuinely scared. Then, to my horror, they actually opened my door! I screamed in shock and asked what was going on. The person, who appeared to be a hotel staff member delivering food, simply said they had the wrong room. When I asked again for an explanation, they didn’t even bother apologizing—just turned around and left. As a woman traveling alone, this was an incredibly frightening experience. The worst part? The same thing happened the next morning. Around 9 or 10 AM, another staff member rang the doorbell and then let themselves in, claiming they were there for housekeeping. I told them I didn’t need service, but I was shocked that a five-star hotel like Marriott doesn’t even provide a "Do Not Disturb" sign for guests to use. This was one of the scariest hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Absolutely unacceptable.

Worst.
A fire alarm went off the first day. 33 floors and I am partially handicapped. They did not mention exactly when they would be functioning after the all clear. There is a $7 sur charge for room service that doesn't go to the employees. Shower had hardly any water pressure and no easy way to shave. Not so great Marriott. The staff was unaware the elevators were still out 27 people went up the stairs as i went down

Perfect!
Came here for a weekend getaway. I was recently in the Copley area, but stayed at the Sheraton and had a pretty poor experience there, so this time I opted for this Marriott and it was an EXCELLENT choice! Upon arriving the first impression was how large and grand the place is… inside and out! It’s connected to the walkways that take you to the Prudential Center Mall and Copley Place. Checking in was PERFECT! The best check-in experience I’ve had in a long time! Sorry, I forgot his name, but he seems to be the guy in charge up there (had lots of lapel pins of police badges). He hit all the points when providing us with our check-in, especially when advising about the property and what comes with our stay – it was very informative and helpful! I stay at several Marriott properties monthly (4 in the past week) and really enjoyed this level of attention to detail and helpfulness during check-in! The property is huge, offering lots of elevators in the elevator bank and I love how you call them, but using a pad on the wall to select your floor and it tells you which elevator to use – Very efficient! Our room was nice and comfortable. The bathroom and room were very clean and everything worked nicely. Some bonuses when staying here – There is a $30/day resort fee can be used towards $30 in food/drink at Yard House, so we stopped in daily for cocktails, which were credited to our room. You will also get 2 tickets to The View Boston – a great experience in the mall and a great deal when it’s free! Highly recommend staying here – I’ll be back!

Perfect!
I had a an excellent stay this past weekend. All the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, although a bit smaller than other hotels. The price you pay for being downtown Boston. The M club for Platinum elite and above was fantastic. Large, comfortable, plenty of food and all of the food was good. Alcohol is an extra charge. If I could take off a fraction of a point I would t off for dirty windows. The view from the 24th floor was great, but it would have been spectacular if the windows were clean. Note that there is a $30 destination fee with this hotel. The $30 fee can be recovered if food or beverage is charged to the room at the Yard House restaurant (which we did). It also includes free tickets to the Prudential Sky view, which we took advantage of, saving us $50.

Perfect!
I stayed here with family for one night and found the experience to be fantastic. We were on the 34th floor in a king-bed room. The room was very clean, the staff were friendly and the location was key. The decor looked newer and the room was very comfortable. We were able to check-in and out, tip the staff, and use our room key straight from our cell phones which was great considering how busy the hotel was when we arrived. I would definitely book with this hotel again in the future.
