Located along the coast in a touristy town, surrounded by food, amenities, and attractions. If you get an ocean fronting room the view is great for the price, but the rooms are no-frills, and the bed, is hard.

Fabulous ocean views. Sound proofing is not the best - especially when the room next door is having a private party until 1am.
Its a noisey hotel and you can hear all the door slams, cupboard bangs.
AC temperature is set during winter/spring and so cannot cool the room for sleeping.
As commented previously, the mattresses are very hard. So if you have back problems book elsewhere as all the room mattresses seem the same (after we transfered rooms the bed was the same).
Reception polite and friendly. I was amazed when they checked us in early. Which has never been the case in our 3 weeks moving around Korean accomodations.

Bed was well-worn but better than those provided in barracks. Only one key card was provided, even if you check-in as a couple. Staff had to be “coaxed” to help us book a taxi to the airport (we can’t speak/read Korean).
The view and close vicinity to the beach and various café / restaurants made up for it.

Prime location, however we had a very bad experience checking in. We arrived here around 12pm, waited for 3 hours, since they had strict rule of check-in only after 3. Everyone was waiting in the lobby on this horrible raining day. We’ve travelled extensively around the world, never been to any hotel so rigid with their rule especially when the weather was so poor. We went up just about 5 minutes before 3pm to ask if they are ready for Check-in, they refused. We were the first up to the desk, however by the time we finished our enquiry, there’s a big queue, the receptionist just sent us to the back of the line and receive local clients first. Is this how the local bully overseas customers?! Unbelievable. The room is ok, relative clean, only one chair is covered by some chocolate thing on the side, but missing towels, it was very hard to communicate with the staff, as they hardly speak English! Also, the Samsung aircon is funny, when it reaches the set temperature, it turns off automatically, and then it goes back on making big noise again when the temperature changes. No quiet sleeping setting. Disappointing with the brand choice. Oh, they don’t provide toothpaste or brush like others, so bring your own. Jeju-do is sadly not set up for international tourists, not just the language issue, the levels of professional service and courtesy are very not impressed. The view of the beach is not bad, but the beach is quite small, not as portrayed online.
