I had an amazing stay at Shilla Stay Haeundae! The location is perfect—just a short walk to Haeundae Beach and surrounded by great restaurants and cafes. It’s also conveniently near the bus terminal, making it easy to take trips around Busan. On the street level, there’s a 24-hour E-Mart for any essentials, and a McDonald’s right across the street for a quick bite.
I highly recommend booking a room with a sea view—it takes the whole experience to the next level! Waking up to the breathtaking ocean scenery made my stay even more special. The rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and efficient, and check-in/check-out was smooth. Breakfast had a good variety, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing.
I’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Great service, staffs are very friendly. Love the ocean view, where you can catch a glimpse of sunrise at one corner. But the sound proofing need to improve. We can hear people practicing baseball in the middle of the night as there is a baseball practice place downstairs , right in front of our room. Can’t get the aircon to work so we need to sleep with windows open which make the sleep quality worse as we can hear traffic and people practicing baseball at same time! Closing windows doesn’t help much as we can still hear baseball practice noise in the middle of the night.

Disappointing stay at this hotel as the room was a little dirty and the bed was very hard. I accidentally left a brand new top (with tags still on) in the closet and forgot to take it with me. The hotel did not even reply when I emailed the subsequently.

We stayed for 4 days for less than $100, which included breakfast, lunch, and beer and 1 side dish for dinner.
The location was great, and the service was good also.

I had an emergency where my son became sick shortly after we arrived in Korea. I contacted Shilla Stay four days before our trip to request a cancellation fee waiver, which was $300. Unfortunately, they were completely unhelpful. They asked for unreasonable documentation, including proof that my son was sick (which I can provide with a doctor’s note) and a family certification. Who travels with a family certification, especially in another country?
I am deeply disappointed with their lack of understanding, poor customer service, and inability to handle such situations. I would like to ask the manager: would you carry a family certification while traveling to another country?
This experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing.
