Worst.
I stayed at Park Hyatt Seoul recently, expecting a luxury experience as a Hyatt Globalist member. Unfortunately, my visit was marred by a series of disappointing incidents. First and foremost, my husband suffered severe food poisoning after dining at one of the hotel's restaurants. Despite claims of following proper food safety procedures, the dish we consumed caused significant illness, requiring medical attention and disrupting my travel plans. The customer service was equally disappointing. When I reported the food poisoning, the hotel manager showed little empathy and made no real effort to assist or provide meaningful compensation. To make matters worse, after I checked out, the management stopped responding to my follow-up emails entirely. Additionally, the breakfast restaurant staff began clearing the buffet and rushing guests out by 10:30 am. We ordered a la carte items but only got a sorry that we forgot after it was past the last order time. This lack of consideration and care created an unwelcoming and hurried atmosphere. For a hotel that prides itself on luxury and exceptional service, my experience was far below expectations. Food safety, guest care, and proper communication should be non-negotiable, especially at a property of this caliber. I would not recommend Park Hyatt Seoul based on my experience. It’s disappointing to see such a well-known brand fail to uphold basic standards.

Perfect!
Located just steps from the subway entrance and across from Coex mall. Minimalist room decor with generous deep bath tub. Good breakfast buffet with both local and international options.

Perfect!
My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Park Hyatt Seoul. Globalist recognition was great. The spa and gym were both great with Aesop face care in the spa and a great selection of free weights In the large gym. The highlight of the stay was the wonderful breakfast spread with a large selection of both western and Korean items as well as a large a la carte menu. Service was great all around.

Worst.
I came with a child. This is my third visit, and this time the service was the worst. Even considering the fact that it is a glass window, the heating doesn't work well, and the room was assigned to me with a strange structure, and the bathroom didn't get any warm air at all, so I shivered while using the bathroom. I checked in advance that I have a child and booked a room for 3 people, but they said they couldn't give me an extra bed due to the room structure. Then they should have assigned me a different room structure. When they said they couldn't give me an extra bed, I asked for an extra bedding, but they said no. They didn't have one. Is this a stars hotel? ㅠ I wanted to go home and sleep warmly. The room service food wasn't warm, and the amount was ridiculously small. And lastly, the door didn't open with the room key. Haha? Does it make sense that the door wouldn't open with the room key I received? When I went back up to the lobby and asked, they just re-registered me and left. I won't come back.

Great!
I stayed at this hotel twice, once in a Deluxe room and once in a Park Suite. Regarding the location, the closest subway station is Samseong station, which is famous for its large shopping, dining, and convention areas, I could easily access places like COEX, Parnas, and Hyundai Department store. This area is more business-oriented than tourist friendly, so if you want to visit popular tourist spots in Seoul, you’ll need to take the metro or a bus. All the staff, including those at the front desk, concierge and bellhop sections, were very kind and courteous. They were always ready to assist guests. Unfortunately, I can’t remember his name, but a middle-aged bellhop(or perhaps a concierge member) working on the first floor was exceptionally kind and helpful. In-room dining and breakfast buffet were prepared with fresh ingredients, met my expectations and the bakery section was particularly impressive. The room conditions were always very clean and well-maintained. However, the traffic noise was quite noticeable, as the hotel is located very close a major intersection. It would be helpful if they changed the windows to thicker soundproof glass.
