A very hidden spot for an amazing and hearty porridge!Highly recommend the shrimp porrodge. My partner had the abalone and we both thought shrimp was the best. However, abalone was also very good. I am personally a prawn lover :) A very busy place, get in early if you can. We got in at 9.30am and was already packed on a Friday morning.

There is a reason why there is a line! Old school abalone and guts porridge… so flavorful! Top it with the house made squid kimchi and you’ll be in heaven. Also tried the oyster mushroom zucchini porridge which was lighter tasting but also good. Service is awesome and turnover is quick even though the space is tiny.

***NOTE*** They only take cash. We went on a weekday around 3pm and it was quite empty. Porridge is very good but so are the octopus and squid kimchi! Very comforting to eat especially during the colder periods of the year. Well worth a trip down if you’re in the area. Staff are very friendly also.

Was looking for a place in the area to get porridge and stumbled upon this restaurant. We went around 11am and there was a queue already. I think most people go here for lunch, so if you want to avoid the queue, go in the afternoon. We tried the premium abalone and mushroom & oyster. Both were very good. The porridge was flavorful and the toppings went well with it. The premium abalone is 24,000won and the mushroom & oyster is 16,000won. Super worth it! Also loved the side spicy squid kimchi. Note also that they only take CASH only. Be prepared to share tables too.

Warm, hearty and satisfying meal - perfect for the cold weather. Food tasted home cooked and they were quite generous with the toppings. I'm having a bad flu today and their chicken ginseng porridge was just what I needed. It was kinda pricey, but worth it.
