Not Worth the Price – Poor Room Conditions Despite Quiet Location We booked this hotel expecting a quality stay given the higher price, but unfortunately, it fell far short of expectations. The Good: - The staff was polite and made an effort to address our concerns. - The location is quiet and peaceful, about a 10-minute walk from the walking street. The Bad: - Mold in the shower: We checked two different rooms, and both had visible mold in the bathrooms. - Bugs: We found ants on the bed, which is simply unacceptable for a hotel at this price point. - Shower issues: The shower was either without hot water or had an extremely low water stream, making it difficult to use. For the price we paid, we expected far better. While the staff was kind, the overall room conditions made our stay uncomfortable. Unless the management takes steps to address these hygiene and maintenance issues, I cannot recommend staying here.

Really torn on how to review this place fairly. Firstly, the staff are incredible and cannot do enough for you. I was unwell for a couple of days during our stay and they were checking on me and bringing me lots of water (it was very appreciated). However, the hotel itself is run down and the pictures do not reflect its current state. Around the pool area around 30 people would gather each day (most of whom did not stay at the hotel) meaning there were no free subtends and I was unable to use the pool. The staff did ask them to move on but half of the time they wouldn’t listen. It was a daily occurrence and feel that it’s really unfair to those who paid for the hotel. I feel that the hotel has the potential to be fantastic if these issues are resolved.

Hotel did not match the pictures very well, its very run down and dirty. We had dead mosquitos on our walls, ants in our bed, and I found a joint in one of our bathrobes indicating that they have not been cleaned in between guests. The pool was very dirty so we did not bathe there a single time. We were kept awake during the evenings by loud dog barking, and woken up at 5 am from the chicken next door that screamed until it was dark again. Only things good were staff and location. Otherwise not good value for money.

Worst experience. Stayed in two bed rooms suite with pool access. Check in : staff said no people to attend to our luggage. WiFi: Not working Building: walkway – rooms seems not maintained and cleaned at all. Hotel is more like the run-down building. Toilets are dirtier than public toilet. The photos in their booking website are deceiving.

Not sure if we just got a bad room? The A/C sounded like a machine gun or helicopter after 10-20 minutes of use, regardless of which settings we tried. Bugs kept getting in (I understand it’s a jungle area, but no where else we’ve stayed in Thailand had bugs), the bathroom door wouldn’t even shut to the toilet so good bye privacy, and the shower walls had grime & mold in the tile, you wouldn’t even want to lean against or touch the shower wall. We even asked the front desk about our A/C, and sure enough it continued to sound like a machine gun. The pool has chipped tiles everywhere and the deck needs repair. Quiet area & comfy bed was about the only good things.
