Nice location. Weird access via the lobby on the 7th floor and not really a holiday inn atmosphere. This is like a city business hotel. Vending machines for both money exchange and toiletries. The washing room is practical but 45 mins on power was not enough to dry my clothes and I had to blow dry them as it was check out time! The irons are great. The location is good but the hotel needs a bar!

We spent one week here. The rooms were so comfortable and well appointed. The beds are SO comfortable! Service was friendly and the breakfast was good. We used the laundry which takes 10,000 W and they have a coin machine for convenience. Great location in Hongdae with easy access to subway just downstairs. Would highly recommend.

Great location just above subway station and directly across from university. Plenty of shopping and restaurants just steps away, including inside the hotel building.
Staff members are very kind and helpful. Check-in and check out are very simple.
Breakfast is best I've had at any Holiday Inn.
Top notch cleanliness. Couldn't ask for a better stay.

Great location! Away from the Hongdae crowds. The hotel just right next to the subway exit. Very convenient since the hotel and AK plaza (mall) are in the same building. First floor has a CU (convenient store)?? Room is decent sized and clean. Service was helpful and nice. Highly recommended!

I have never had such an amazing breakfast at any Holiday Inn Express, or even Holiday Inn. The variety of foods were outstanding, along with the taste. The eggs didn't have that cheap microwave rubber feeling, and the variety of juices were amazing.
I don't usually start with food but I had to with this place, onto the other thoughts.
Location was perfect. Right near the subway exit 7. Plenty of food nearby, and a 5 story mall is in the very same building with lots of food options. A nice to CU is also in the same building (convenience store).
Check In was a breeze. It's on the 7th floor. Staff are very friendly.
The room was very clean. Sheets were clean, towels were clean. This is the only thing I care about in a hotel room. Is the stuff I'm touching clean?
By Seoul standards, the room was regular size. By US standards, it was small. If you've never been to Seoul I want to set your expectations.
The water pressure in the shower was great. I'd actually say better than hotels in the US. The volume was just great.
But the room had a fridge which I didn't expect. There was also a ceiling mounted a/c unit I could control whenever I wanted. I read all sorts of reviews with questions about the air conditioning, but you can run it when you like. It has its own remote control.
Anyways, I would gladly stay here again, and probably will when I come back to Korea.
