My husband and I live in Alaska so it’s an extra special treat to vacation in Hawaii! We especially love staying at Disney’s Aulani Resort! Being in the hospitality business ourselves, we especially appreciate the extra care that comes from the staff. Each member is consistently welcoming, accommodating and genuinely friendly. The rooms are thoroughly cleaned and the property/pool area is always very well kept! My husband and new baby loved every minute of our stay! If I were to offer one, kind recommendation, I would love to see the kitchen utensils upgraded—this of course is not a huge deal, but for the amount spent per night for each room, I would have expected a bit higher quality. Again, not a big deal whatsoever—we simply appreciate honest and kind feedback to make our lodge the best it can be!:) Thank you again for everything, Disney Aulani Team! We will be back!

Rooms were nice and spacious with fully equipped kitchens (two bedroom suites), but there were a few things that weren't cleaned or functional, which is surprising for the price and brand of Disney. Staff was apologetic and kind to try to fix or make right, but it would be great to have right upon arrival (e.g. door handle broken in bathroom, soap in showers not refilled, broken glass in cupboard, luggage rack missing a bolt so wouldn't stay level). The resort itself is fabulous, and there is so much to do for children. Free boogie board rentals, umbrellas, beach chairs, Hawaiian shaved ice is mickey ear shaped and "reasonably' priced ($7 / $9 with ice cream). Restaurant on property seemed to forget that we had an order incorrectly prepared and they were going to quickly sear the steak to go from medium rare to the originally requested medium. Instead, we waited 20 or more minutes and were paying $77 for the meal. It would seem reasonable to take off the steak for ~$50 but there was no such offer. They comped two drinks instead (one of which they encouraged we order after their mistake). Even with all these downfalls, I would still come back for the experience and resort amenities..I would certainly lower expectations and look for pricing breaks when booking to accommodate for the lack of perfection. Still pleased we enjoyed the resort. Cheers.

Staying in a two-bedroom villa was an exceptional experience. The villa is spacious and thoughtfully designed, featuring a fully equipped kitchen, in-room washer and dryer, with a stunning view. The resort is packed multiple pools, a lazy river, and Laniwai Spa for ultimate relaxation. It also incorporates Hawaiian traditions through storytelling, ukulele lessons, and Hula dance, making it more than just a Disney destination. Dining options are diverse, with something for everyone, though prices were on the higher side. Overall, it offers the perfect blend of comfort and convenience for an unforgettable Hawaiian getaway infused with Disney magic. It’s a splurge-worthy retreat that delivers on relaxation, fun, and a touch of enchantment.

It is a very nice resort, pools are amazing and there are pools for all ages. Water is not deep. The lazy river ride is great also. There are a lot of restaurants but they are expensive. Don't forget to buy the coffee mug from Ulu cafe and you can refill coffee and drinks from there during all your stay days for free. The view is amazing, remember to ask for pool view with ocean view, not just ocean view to get the best view. The beach is great for kids they can swim safely, they have a store to rent beach stuff. Most of the activities you need to pay to do it, like snorkeling, diving, painting or meeting Moana. So be ready to pay for the activity and do reservation before you go or when you arrive. An Advice to save some money, you can stop by Safeway and get breakfast stuff at least or you can get more because the rooms have a refrigerator and small equipped kitchen so you can prepare your meals and eat at your room. In general it is great resort.

Fantastic staff, friendly, cheerful and so kind with sense of humor. Everything was immaculate and perfect. Rooms are outstanding, pool areas are wonderful, beach is gorgeous. Lots of activities to do at the resort. Great food options and retail stores. Great Disney vibes with characters walking around and dining options with them. Cannot fault this Resort, definitely will go back.
