Where do I start with this? Room was very cold. Thermostat didn’t work well no extra blankets into the room. I had a “queen” bed and we couldn’t fit well in it. I had to sleep on the pull out chair luckily. I asked for an accessible room and got still an half tub in the bathroom and my disabled mother couldn’t get in or out to shower. No microwave or coffee maker in the room or even plastic silverware only plastic cups. Great position, great lobby but not worth it for all the money they ask. NOT WORTH IT

Fantastic location for all central attractions. Staff were super friendly and Jonan in particular was really helpful. Room was spacious and having two bathrooms was fantastic for a family of 5. Rooms were always cleaned to a superb standard. Diner was also excellent! Thanks to all of the staff who made our visit to New York so fantastic.

I'm not impressed with the reto bathrooms with tight spaces, no shelving or hooks to spread out your toiletries. The bedding was comfortable. Each room is different space-wise. Some rooms are too tiny to open a suitcase. The location, however, is hard to beat for a central area tourist visit.

Location - Excellent. Right next to The Garden. Great subway accessibility. 10 min walk to Hudson Yards. Lovely Jubbly. And that’s where the positive vibes end I’m afraid. Read the reviews after I booked. Thought “oh dear” So I splashed out and upgraded the room. If my room was an upgrade, I don’t want to know what a standard room would have been like. Probably a sardine tin. First off, the bed, where the magic happens! Mate, we could barely get me and the Mrs on the bed yet alone perform any magic. It’s smaller than a double! I didn’t get the tape measure out but the other reviews ring true. The room is so small that you can’t even open up your suitcase on the floor. And I know what you’re thinking. All rooms in NYC are small. Nah I’m a regular visitor to NYC and they have never been this small. Pardon my crudeness, but I couldn’t even take a dump. Never have I been in a hotel bathroom where I can’t dump. A man needs to dump. Standard hotel bathroom expectations. You can’t dump with the door closed and wipe your… you get the idea. Water either stone cold or scolding. Place your bets. There was times during the cramped 3 nights where I wondered if the room was getting smaller or I was just getting bigger. We will never know. And the cards never worked. Usual excuse. “Don’t put them near any phones or cameras etc” You know things that everyone has glued to them in 2024. Staff were fine but hard work when you needed something. And it’s real expensive for what you’re getting. Bill was $1600 for 3 nights. For a suitcase sized room. Overall, great location. Hotel needs a major overall. Won’t stay here ever again. I’ve actually booked Hard Rock Hotel for next time. For the same price.

Had a great time at the New Yorker ! We managed to get a discounted room upgrade to a Suite with a fantastic terrace with amazing views. The rooms are a little tired but it’s all about the location and service from the staff. A great time was had by all.
